Be just!

“David ruled over all Israel; David administered law and justice for all his people.”
2 Samuel 8:15 CJB

We need to follow David’s example here. We also need to be ministers of justice, showing justice to people around us!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

What Adonai requires of us isn’t that complicated or hard for us to do! To be just, be gracious and walk uprightly with those around us!

“Adonai is good, and He is fair; this is why He teaches sinners the way [to live], leads the humble to do what is right and teaches the humble [to live] His way.”
Psalm 25:8-9 CJB

Today, let’s be careful of treating people poorly. When we are kind and just to others we will always see them be more receptive to Yeshua!
Have a blessed day being just, loving grace and walking uprightly with our God!

Share good news

“How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, proclaiming shalom, bringing good news of good things, announcing salvation and saying to Tziyon, Your God is King.”
Isaiah 52:7 CJB

With all the crazy rhetoric that we hear on a daily basis, the best way to combat it is to share the good news of our King and His salvation for us!

“Justice, only justice, you must pursue; so that you will live and inherit the land Adonai your God is giving you.”
Deuteronomy 16:20 CJB

We need to be careful of passing judgment on the crazy world! We need to find comfort in the fact that God will do it and we don’t have to! What we get to do is share the joyful good news of salvation!

“Come, let’s sing to Adonai! Let’s shout for joy to the Rock of our salvation.!”
Psalm 95:1 CJB

Today, is the day to share the good news and not get caught up in the bad views of the world!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!
Shabbat Shalom!

Look to Adonai

“David was frightened of Adonai that day; he asked, How can the ark of Adonai come to me?”
2 Samuel 6:9 CJB

We should always have a healthy fear of Adonai, we need to remember we are not His equal!

“The first and foremost point of wisdom is the fear of Adonai; all those living by it gain good common sense. His praise stands forever.”
Psalm 111:10 CJB

In everything we do we must do it Adonai’s way not ours! We need to have a healthy fear of Adonai. Remember, He is God!

“Commit your way to Adonai; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:5 CJB

Today, let’s really look to Adonai for everything! Then watch How He will act and fulfill all our needs, not wants!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

Success in Adonai

“David did exactly as Adonai had ordered him to do and pursued his attack on the Philistines from Geva all the way to Gezer.”
2 Samuel 5:25 CJB

Here we see David asked Adonai what he should do, then David does what Adonai tells Him to do! This is how he has success. He simply does what Adonia tells him!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

We really need to be following the word of God and do what He instructs us to do! Unfortunately, as our day progresses, we can lose track and find ourselves falling back into doing things our own way! We just need to reset and seek Adonai to get back on track!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
1 Chronicles 16:11 CJB

Today, let’s focus on Adonai and look to Him! That is where our success will be!
Have a blessed day!

Call on God

“They brought the head of Ish-Boshet to David in Hevron and said to the king, Here is the head of Ish-Boshet the son of Sha’ul your enemy, who wanted to take your life. Today Adonai has taken revenge on Sha’ul and his son for the sake of my lord the king.”
2 Samuel 4:8 CJB

What a great warning here for us. We need to be careful of doing things that we think are going to please God or someone. It may not turn out the way we think it will! Instead pray and wait for God to answer!

“I call on Adonai, who is worthy of praise; and I am saved from my enemies.”
Psalm 18:4 CJB (Verse 3 in other translations)

When we try to do things on our own or take matters into our own hands it usually gets us into deep trouble!

“I wait longingly for Adonai; I put my hope in His word.”
Psalm 130:5 CJB

Today, with all the decisions and choices we have to make, let’s take our time to call on Adonai and wait! Remember, He will never let us down!
Have a blessed day waiting on Adonai!
