Have Shalom in the home!

“For the house, when under construction, was built of stone prepared at the quarry; so that no hammer, chisel or iron tool of any kind was heard in the house while it was being built.”
1 Kings 6:7 CJB

In other words, the house of God needs to be reverent, not filled with gossip and confusion, noise! It needs to be in order, the same goes for our own homes and hearts, where God also dwells! Don’t fill it with useless noise!

“May Adonai give strength to His people! May Adonai bless His people with shalom!”
Psalm 29:11 CJB

In order to have shalom (peace) in our homes, we need to look to Adonai and allow Him to permeate our lives with His shalom!

“May shalom be within your ramparts, prosperity in your palaces.”
Psalm 122:7 CJB

Today, the best way to have shalom is to get rid of the noise, whether it’s the T.V., social media, the bickering and complaining or whatever distracts us from God!
Have a blessed day removing the garbage that distracts!

Look for God

“When Hiram heard Shlomo’s (Solomon’s) message, he was very happy and said, Blessed be Adonai today, who has given David a wise son to rule this great people.”
1 Kings 5:21 CJB

Anytime we hear the good things Adonai is doing in a place or through someone we should be excited and want to get on board, joining in on what Adonai is doing!

“This has come from Adonai, and in our eyes it is amazing.”
Psalm 118:23 CJB

If we are watching and searching, we can always find Adonai is doing amazing things that we can be part of!

“How great are His signs! How powerful His wonders! His kingdom lasts forever, and He rules all generations.”
Daniel 3:33 CJB

Today, look for what Adonai is doing and when you see it, jump in and be part of His wonderful works!
Have a blessed day serving Adonai!

God gives

“Judah and Israel were numerous as sand grains on the seashore; they ate, drank and enjoyed themselves.”
1 Kings 4:20 CJB

When Solomon started his reign he did what God instructed him to do and Adonai gave them peace, prosperity and joy! It’s when he stopped obeying when things began to fall apart! The same is true today. God gives when we obey! This doesn’t mean we get all our wants, it just means God will bless us with peace, joy and a contentment with what we have!

“He will yet fill your mouth with laughter and your lips with shouts of joy.”
Job 8:21 CJB

Blessing doesn’t always mean health and wealth, it means being filled with the peace and joy of Adonai!

“I will lie down and sleep in peace; for, Adonai, You alone make me live securely.”
Psalm 4:8 CJB

Today, let’s look to Adonai for peace and blessings, not the world!
Have a blessed day!

God is just!

“All Israel heard of the decision the king had made and held the king in awe, for they saw that God’s wisdom was in him, enabling him to render justice properly.”
1 Kings 3:28 CJB

Even today people seek and desire rulers to be fair and just! Unfortunately, we don’t see that in the leaders we have today! That is why we need to be seeking Adonai even more!

“When you seek Me, you will find Me, provided you seek for me wholeheartedly.”
Jeremiah 29:13 CJB

When we seek Adonai we will always find what is just and what is right!

“I know that Adonai gives justice to the poor and maintains the rights of the needy.”
Psalm 140:12 CJB

Today, if you want justice then seek Adonai because that is where justice will be found!
Have an amazing day in Him!

Walk with God

“I am going the way of all the earth. Therefore, be strong; show yourself a man.”
1 Kings 2:2 CJB

The term “going the way of all the earth” just means when we die! What David is telling Solomon is be a man, be godly and do what is right in the sight of Adonai!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

What Adonai requires of us isn’t too complicated! He gives us a very simple list here in Micah! First: we must act and behave justly!

“How happy are those who act justly, who always do what is right!”
Psalm 106:3 CJB

Second: we need to love grace and be gracious!

“See how I love Your precepts, Adonai; in keeping with Your grace, revive me.”
Psalm 119:159 CJB

Third: we need to walk in purity or uprightly!

“But if we are walking in the light, as He is in the light, then we have fellowship with each other, and the blood of His Son Yeshua purifies us from all sin.”
1 John 1:7 CJB

Today, let’s be those who are walking uprightly, being just and loving grace! Doing all that Adonai calls to us to do!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!
