Glorify God

“My enemies say the worst about me: When will he die and his name disappear?”
Psalm 41:5 CJB

This is a sobering verse to me! Why? Not just because our enemies hate us, but the idea when most of us die we will be forgotten! Go to any store today and 95% of the people there you don’t know or will ever know! Unlike Adonai who knows everything about us and never forgets!

“Your eyes could see me as an embryo, but in your book all my days were already written; my days had been shaped before any of them existed.”
Psalm 139:16 CJB

How amazing is this that God created us and knows everything about us! So let’s shine His light and glorify Him!

“In the same way, let your lights shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

As believers, we need to be shining light to glorify God not ourselves!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

What a good reminder that God Himself chose us out of the world to represent Him, even though we may not be remembered in future generations! But we can still do our part to glorify God so future generations know Him!
Have a blessed day glorifying Him!

God puts a new song in our hearts!

“He put a new song in my mouth, a song of praise to our God. Many will look on in awe and put their trust in Adonai.”
Psalm 40:3 CJB

What and who do you trust? If it’s Adonai and His perfect word, He will always put a new song in your heart!

“Blessed is the man who trusts in Adonai; Adonai will be his security.”
Jeremiah 17:7 CJB

Our trust needs to be in Adonai, realize He will never let you down!

“As for God, His way is perfect, the word of Adonai has been tested by fire; He shields all who take refuge in Him.”
2 Samuel 22:31 CJB

So put all your trust in Adonai, knowing His ways are perfect and trustworthy!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Live for Adonai

“Hear my prayer, Adonai, listen to my cry, don’t be deaf to my weeping; for with you, I am just a traveler passing through, like all my ancestors.”
Psalm 39:12 CJB

We need to be reminded of this often in my opinion, that we are just here for a season! There is only about 6,000 years of recorded history, so if we live at most a hundred years are we living for Adonai or for what we can’t keep?

“For in Your presence we are temporary residents, just passing through, as all our ancestors were- our days on earth are like a shadow, without hope.”
1 Chronicles 29:15 CJB

The point here is our days on earth are numbered. We are just passing through! If we put our hope in this life we will be disappointed, but when we put our hope in Adonai, we will be satisfied! So hope in Adonai!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Realize that we are only here very temporarily, but eternity is forever! So what are you living for the world with no hope or Adonai who has a future full of hope?
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Yeshua come quickly

“Come quickly to help me, Adonai, my salvation.”
Psalm 38:22 CJB

This should be our prayer for Adonai to come quickly!

“See! God is my salvation. I am confident and unafraid; for Yah Adonai is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation!”
Isaiah 12:2 CJB

As we see the world around us is getting dark and it is hard to see clearly! One thing we should know for sure is God is light and with Him we can see through the darkness!

“Adonai is my light and salvation; whom do I need to fear? Adonai? Adonai is the stronghold of my life; of whom should I be afraid?”
Psalm 27:1 CJB

The answer is we should be afraid of nothing and His light should help us see the world for what it is! So let’s pray today, for Adonai to come quickly and see things through His light!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Dwell in Adonai

“Adonai is the one who saves the righteous; He is their stronghold in the time of trouble.”
Psalm 37:39 CJB

God made us righteous when He saved us, so let’s dwell in His stronghold, where we are safe from all troubles!

“Victory comes from Adonai; may Your blessing rest on Your people.”
Psalm 3:8 CJB

When we are saved , we belong to Adonai, we become His children! As His children, let us desire to reflect the Father and His ways!

“It is the Spirit of God that made me, the breath of Shaddai that gives life.”
Job 33:4 CJB

So no matter what is going on, let us rejoice in the fact that we are saved and we belong to Adonai!
Have a blessed day in Him!
