We all have struggles in life!

“And the king commanded them to quarry large stones, costly stones, and hewn stones, to lay the foundation of the temple. So Solomon’s builders, Hiram’s builders, and the Gebalites quarried them; and they prepared timber and stones to build the temple.”

1 Kings 5:17-18

The construction of the Solomon temple happened almost three thousand years ago, the builders had no power tools, cranes or bulldozers. Everything was done by hand with blood and sweat! In other words they had burdens feeling overwhelmed with no end in sight! That’s maybe how you feel today!

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

Matthew 11:28-30

Often times we look at the task before us, the situation going on in our lives or the up hill battle that we are in! What the LORD desires us to do, is look to Him, rest in Him and most of all learn from Him! Realize, He has everything all worked out already!

“You will show me the path of life; In Your presence is fullness of joy; At Your right hand are pleasures for evermore.”

Psalm 16:11

Remember, it took Solomon seven years to build the temple, forty years for the children of Israel to walk through the wilderness and seventy years captivity in Babylon in all cases the LORD was right there with them, the same goes for us! No matter what burden you may be going through. Know this the LORD is right there with you, no matter how long it takes! Have a blessed day knowing the LORD is working it all out!

Spend time with the LORD

“You are to make the alter of acacia – wood, seven-and -a-half feet long and seven-and-a-half feet wide the alter is to be square and four-and-a-half feet high. Make the horns for it on its four corners; the horns are to be of one piece; and you are to overlay it with bronze.”

Exodus 27:1-2 CJB

As we read through the instructions of building the wilderness tabernacle, we can see how much effort it took to build! The same goes for us it takes effort to walk with the LORD, don’t get caught up in I confessed my sin and then continue in it!

“I acknowledge my sin to You, And my iniquity I have not hidden. I said, I will confess my transgressions to the LORD, And you forgave the iniquity of my sin.”

Psalm 32:5 NKJB

Understand, we are forgiven and don’t need to continue in sin! I believe once we grasp this concept we will end up spending less time confessing and more time in His glory, walking in His ways!

“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.”

1 John 1:9 NKJB

Realize, the more time we spend with the LORD, the less time we spend in the world! Turn off the devices of the world and turn on the devices of the LORD!

“Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You.”

Psalm 119:11 NKJB

Today, realize, we are forgiven and we don’t have to go back to the places of sin! Instead of putting effort in to sinful things, let’s put all our effort into walking with the LORD! Our day will always go better when we are in fellowship with Him!

Have a blessed day spending time with the LORD!

Take refuge in the LORD

“You shall also make a covering of ram skins dyed red for the tent, and a covering of badger skins above that.”

Exodus 26:14

What I find interesting here is we first see the fine woven linen cloth, then dyed ram skins, and then this badger skin! which isn’t pretty its not dyed or altered it just put over the tabernacle to cover and protect, to take the heat of the sun and the elements!

“For You have been a shelter for me, A strong tower from the enemy. I will abide in Your tabernacle forever; I will trust in the shelter of Your wings.”

Psalm 61:3-4

The picture the LORD is showing us here is no matter what situation you may be going through, He has us covered and protected! We just have to trust in Him!

“Trust in the LORD with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; In all your ways acknowledge Him, And He shall direct your paths.”

Proverbs 3:5-6

Today, know that you are covered by the LORD, so take refuge under His wings. Have a blessed day dwelling in His tabernacle.
