Are you cripple inside?

“When Jesus heard it, He said to them, Those who are well have no need of a physician, but those who are sick. I did not come to call the righteous, but sinners, to repentance.”

Mark 2:17

When we think of sinners, we may think of drug addicts, drunkards, adulterers and people who are immoral; people who have an outward appearance of sin! They look and speak sinfully and openly reject God!

“Even so you also outwardly appear righteous to men, but inside you are full of hypocrisy and lawlessness.”

Matthew 23:28

Like the Pharisees (the Bible teachers), how many of us look good on the outside, go to church, have a nice job and a model family, but in reality we are cripple inside! For what ever reason, usually pride, can’t admit that we are sick and in need of the healing hand of Jesus!

“You can wear a mask and paint your face. You can call yourself the human race. You can wear a collar and a tie. One thing you can’t hide. Is when you’re crippled inside.”

Jesus sees all and knows all!

If you take a look at social media, everyone looks fine: great jobs, great families on great trips! When we go out on the town we see new cars, new phones and great clothes. On the outside we are doing great! Realize, the LORD really cares about what’s going on inside of you! We hear believers say that we need a revival. Awesome, but revival won’t ever happen until we have repentance and that starts on the inside our inside!

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14

Today, let’s look inside, ourselves and really do a housecleaning. Call upon the LORD and allow Him to remove the junk! Then let’s start praying for the world around us! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD!

The LORD has you!

“Immediately the Spirit drove Him into the wilderness.”

Mark 1:12

Jesus was just anointed to be King by John the Baptist! His Father spoke on how pleased He is with His anointed Son. A glorious act of God just happened and now the Spirit drives Him into the wilderness to be tested! The same happens to us we get saved, a successful ministry moment happens or we have a miraculous victory! Then we are driven into the wilderness, Why?

“My brethren, count it all joy when you fall into various trials.”

James 1:2

While we are going through, life’s situations (trials or testings) realize, the LORD is building us up for victory in Him! Any situation we get into understand the LORD is never thrown off guard! He knows all and sees all, and He is guiding us through bringing us closer to Him!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11

Anytime you feel like you’re stuck in a desert or your victories seem to turn into trials, realize it is all part of God’s perfect plan to bring a future, filled with His hope! So, today, no matter what you’re going through, remember the LORD has got you! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom!

The love of the LORD

“Now you repented, you did what is right from My viewpoint when each of you proclaimed freedom to his fellow; and you made a covenant before Me in the house bearing My name.”

But then you changed your minds. You profaned My name when each of you took back his male and female slaves, whom you had set free to live as they wished, and brought them back into subjection as your slaves.”

Jeremiah 34:15-16 CJB

How often do we do the same thing? We make a promise to the LORD, and the very next thing we do is break that promise! How does that make the LORD feel? It’s like children promising that they will be good, clean their room or not hit their sibling and then the very next second they do the opposite of what they promised! The parent is disappointed, but still loves their child, so does the LORD, even after we blow it!

“For Your grace is great, above heaven, and your truth, all the way to the skies.”

Psalm 108:4 CJB

Realize, the love that the LORD has for us is unending, it never fails! It is us who fail when we take our eyes off of Him! We make promises then we look at the situation, instead of the LORD and that’s when we blow it!

“The grace (Love) of Adonai (LORD) is not exhausted, that His compassion has not ended. On the contrary, they are new every morning! How great Your faithfulness!”

Lamentations 3:22-23 CJB

We all, at one time or the other, have promised, LORD, I’ll do this, or I won’t go there and the very next second; we say, do, or go where we promised, we wouldn’t! We blow it! Remember, the LORD, still loves us, so repent and just move on in the LORD! Have a blessed day keeping your eyes on Jesus!

Encourage each other!

“So Moses arose with his assistant Joshua, and Moses went up to the mountain of God.”

Exodus 24:13 NKJB

What a great model to follow, old guys (Moses) taking young guys (Joshua) with them to seek the LORD! If we look around today, we can see that in the world and the church this precept isn’t followed!

“Then the young men who had grown up with him spoke to him, saying, Thus you should speak to the people who have spoken to you, saying, ‘Your father made our yoke heavy, but you make it lighter on us’ – thus you shall say to them: ‘My little finger shall be thicker than my father’s waist!”

2 Chronicles 10:10 NKJB

Ouch! In this account, Rehoboam (Solomon’s son) rejects the advice of the older guys and takes the advice of the younger guys, then disaster hits!

“Don’t let anyone look down on you because of your youth; on the contrary, set the believers an example in your speech, behavior, love, trust and purity.”

1 Timothy 4:12 CJB

Realize, we all belong to the LORD, young, old and middle age! Everyone has a important role to play: old folks need to be raising up the young folks, giving opportunity to do and serve! Remember you’re closer to going home, and the people you raise up are going to be taking over! Young folks really need to be listening and learning from older people, because one day you’re going to be the old person, sooner than you think!

“Therefore, encourage each other, and build each other up – just as you are doing.”

1 Thessalonians 5:11 CJB

Today, no matter what age you are, look for someone to mentor (disciple) or to get guidance from, but most of all let’s listen and encourage each other! The world around us is filled with way to many divisions. As believers, let’s find unity in the LORD! Have a blessed day!
