Check yourself

“Order the people of Israel to expel from the camp everyone with tzara’at (leprosy), everyone with a discharge and whoever is unclean because of touching a corpse.”

Numbers 5:2 CJB

We really need to remove the things that compromise our walks with the LORD! We don’t need to be messing with things that are dead or that will lead us to death. Ask yourself, what distracts you from the LORD, who is life?

“Come close to God, and He will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded people!”

James 4:8 CJB

We can’t make excuses for bad behavior or compromising lifestyles! We can’t be believers one day and heathens the next! We need to stand fast and stand on the LORD! We need to be sold out for Him!

“Adonai is my Rock, my fortress and deliverer, my God, my Rock, in whom I find shelter, my shield, the power that saves me, my stronghold.”

Today, if we say we belong to the LORD, then we need to take a hard look at what we allow into our lives! Assess your lives and remove the junk! Have a blessed day calling on the LORD, asking Him to reveal what needs to go!

Don’t worry

“To His talmidim (disciples) Yeshua said, Because of this I tell you, don’t worry about life-what you will eat or drink; or about your body-what you will wear.”

Luke 12:22 CJB

We all spend too much time worrying about things that we have no control over, instead of praying and talking to the LORD, who does!

“Can any of you by worrying add an hour to his life?”

Luke 12:25 CJB

NO!

We can worry about many things, most of them we created and never get past our own minds that created them! What we need, the LORD gives us and He knows what we need!

“Rather, seek His Kingdom; and these things will be given to you as well. Have no fear, little flock, for your Father has resolved to give you the Kingdom!”

Luke 12:31-32 CJB

Don’t worry. Instead seek the LORD. Remember, He is all we need and that is where your wealth is!

“For where your wealth is, there your heart will be also.”

Today, drop all the unnecessary worrying about things that really aren’t an issue. Instead seek the LORD and watch how He works it, all out! Have a blessed day seeking Him!

Keep seeking the LORD

“For everyone who goes on asking receives; and he who goes on seeking finds; and to him who continues knocking, the door will be opened.”

Luke 11:10 CJB

We need to be consistent in our prayers; so keep praying, keep asking and keep making requests until you get an answer yes or no! Not until you get your way!

“Don’t worry about anything; on the contrary, make your requests known to God by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving.”

Philippians 4:6 CJB

The LORD really wants to have a dialog with us not to get our way, but to get His way! The more we talk to Him and get into His word we start to find His desires are really become our desires, His ways become our ways! We just need to keep seeking Him!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”

1 Chronicles 16:11 CJB

Today, let’s really spend some time seeking the LORD and His will for us! have a blessed day seeking the LORD!

Shabbat Shalom!

Look to the LORD

“I will betroth you to me forever; yes, I will betroth you to Me in righteousness, in justice, in grace and in compassion.”

Hosea 2:21

One day the LORD is going to make everything right the way it is supposed to be! He will call us home to be with Him, where He is preparing a place for us ( John 14:2-3 ). Realize, that place isn’t here, so we will have trials and tribulations.

“I will betroth you to Me in faithfulness, and you will know Adonai.”

Hosea 2:22

Realize, how good the LORD is. He makes promises and He keeps His promises. So don’t let present situations get you down!

“But in my mind I keep returning to something, something that gives me hope – that the grace of Adonai is not exhausted, that His compassion has not ended. On the contrary, they are new every morning! How great is your faithfulness!”

Lamentations 3:21-23

So no matter how yesterday went, whether it was good or bad, know this, the LORD is coming for us, and today is a new day filled with new mercies, His mercies! Have a blessed day knowing the LORD is faithful!
