Give it all to the LORD

“So every one of you who doesn’t renounce all that he has cannot be my talmid.”

Luke 14:33 CJB

In other words, we need to give up our will and fill it with the will of the LORD! Life is always better when we do things the LORD’S way!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with God.”

Micah 6:8 CJB

In every situation we come into today, we need to look to the LORD and see what His desire is in it!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”

Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB

Today, let’s cling to the LORD and follow hard after Him! Doing everything we can His way! Have a blessed day following after the LORD!

Shabbat Shalom!

Look to the LORD

“No, I tell you. Rather, unless you turn to God from your sins, you will die as they did!”

Luke 13:3 CJB

Yeshua (Jesus), makes it clear here we can’t continue in sin and expect everything to just somehow work out! Yeshua’s (Jesus), desire for us is to walk in His ways and give up our ways, which usually is sin! Also don’t look at others as if they are worse. The focus should be us and the LORD!

“Then I will tell them to their faces, I never knew you! Get away from me, you workers of lawlessness!”

Matthew 7:23 CJB

Workers and or practicing lawlessness (sin): the thought here is, are you working or practicing sin? Either way, the LORD wants you to stop and just worship Him!

“No, I tell you. Rather, unless you turn from your sins, you will die similar.”

Luke 13:5

Today, let’s practice worshipping the LORD and work at walking with Him! Let’s not get stuck in our sin, but get stuck in the LORD instead! Have a blessed day turning to God!

The LORD is wonderful

“The angel of Adonai answered him, Why are you asking about My name? It is wonderful.”

Judges 13:18 CJB

The name of the LORD is wonderful, perfect and amazing!

“How much You have done, Adonai my God! Your wonders and your thoughts toward us-none can compare with You! I would proclaim them, I would speak about them; but there’s too much to tell!”

Psalm 40:5 CJB

The idea here is that the LORD has done so many wonderful things that we should never stop talking about them and Him!

“Sing to Adonai, all the earth! Proclaim His victory day after day!”

1 Chronicles 16:23 CJB

Today, let’s really get out there and share how great the LORD is! He has done great and amazing things for all of us. He saved us from an eternity of damnation! So let’s proclaim His Good News! May the LORD greatly bless your day!

Seek the LORD not hype!

“When Moshe went into the tent of meeting in order to speak with Adonai, he heard the voice speaking to him from above the ark-cover on the ark for testimony, from between the two k’ruvim; and He spoke to him.”

Numbers 7:89 CJB

If we want to hear from the LORD, we need to go and listen to Him!

“The voice of Adonai in power, the voice of Adonai in splendor.”

Psalm 29:4 CJB

We need to be spending time with the LORD, not just popping into church listening to a preacher share a verse or two and go home, but personally spend some time with the LORD and getting into His word!

“Moreover, I Myself say to you: keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”

Luke 11:9 CJB

Today, we need to keep seeking the LORD at every opportunity, keep asking and knocking, but most of all, listen to the voice of the LORD. Be in His word, taking it in and doing it! Have a blessed day seeking the the LORD!

The LORD will get you through

“May Adonai bless you and keep you. May Adonai make His face shine on you and show you His favor. May Adonai lift up His face toward you and give you peace.”

Numbers 6:24-26 CJB

The LORD really wants us to be happy and filled with His blessings! This doesn’t mean life will be perfect and without trials, but knowing that the hand of the LORD is upon us throughout the day is very comforting!

“Adonai is righteous in all his ways, full of grace in all He does.”

Psalm 145:17 CJB

Today, realize we all have days filled with ups and downs, but remember, the LORD will get you through. His grace is upon us!

“In this way they are to put my name on the people of Israel, so that I will bless them.”

Numbers 6:27 CJB

The LORD is blessing you and He is keeping you, His face is shining upon you and He wants us to be filled with His peace! No matter what your day may look like or what situations you may be in, just look for the LORD and His peace! Have a blessed day in Him!
