Keep your eyes on the LORD

“Then He said to His talmidim, The time is coming when you will long to see even one of the days of the Son of Man, but you will not see it. People will say to you, Look! Right here! or, See! Over there! Don’t run off, don’t follow them, because the Son of Man in His day will be like lightning that flashes and lights up the sky from one horizon to the other.”

Luke 17:22-24 CJB

When Jesus came the first time He was a peasant a suffering servant and many people ignored Him as they do today! But, when He comes again you will know it is Him, because He will be a conquering King! Sadly for many it will be to late! For us don’t get caught up in hype, entertaining and circus mentality churches where people are led astray! Instead get caught up in the LORD and share His Good News that’s what people really need!

“Beware of false prophets, who come to you wearing sheep’s clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves!”

Matthew 7:15 CJB

We really need to be in the word of God, studying to know what He says! So when false teachers appear we can spot them!

“Dear friends, don’t trust every spirit. On contrary, test the spirits to see whether they are from God; because many false prophets have gone out into the world.”

1 John 4:1 CJB

Today, let’s be alert, checking, testing and most of all looking for the LORD in everything! Have a blessed day seeking the LORD!

Shabbat Shalom!

Trust

“The emissaries said to the LORD, Increase our trust.”

Luke 17:5 CJB

We also need to increase our trust in the LORD and what He says! The Bible is filled with accounts of the LORD directing folks to do things that seem crazy! Why? To increase our trust In Him!

Noah built an Ark even though it never rained!

“Make yourself an ark of gofer-wood; you are to make the ark with rooms and cover it with pitch both outside and inside.”

Genesis 6:14 CJB

Joshua walk around a city!

“You are to encircle the city with all your soldiers and march around it once. Do this for six days.”

Joshua 6:3 CJB

So, when the LORD asks us to do something, we should just do it and put our trust in Him, no matter how insane it may seem!

“Therefore, go and make people from all nations into talmidim, immersing them into the reality of the Father, the Son and the Ruach HaKodesh, teaching them to obey everything that I have commanded you. And remember! I will be with you always, yes, even until the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19-20 CJB

Realize these are just a few examples in scripture of crazy-sounding things the LORD asks of His people, but in reality God uses crazy to bring folks in, so step out today and share the good news! Have a blessed day sharing about the LORD!

Hear and do

“The men replied to her, Our lives are certainly worth yours, provided you don’t betray our mission. So when Adonai gives us the land, we will treat you kindly and in good faith.”

Joshua 2:14 CJB

Rahab heard the good news of what God was doing with Israel, leading them, and keeping His promises to them and she believed! When she believed, she acted. The same goes for us when we hear the good news of the LORD we need to act!

“But He said, Far more blessed are those who hear the word of God and obey it.”

Luke 11:28 CJB

An amazing thing happens when we hear the word of God, believe it and do what it says! We get blessed!

“I will bless those who bless you, but I will curse anyone who curses you; and by you all the families of the earth will be blessed.”

Genesis 12:3 CJB

Here we see a couple of examples in God’s word where we hear and do what God says and we get blessed! One of the things we can do is pray for Israel and the peace of Jerusalem.

“Pray, for the peace of Jerusalem: May they prosper who love you.”

Psalm 122:6 NKJV

Have a blessed day hearing the word of God and doing it!

God’s way is better

“The same Torah and standard of judgment will apply to both you and the foreigner living with you.”

Numbers 15:16 CJB

In other words, the LORD judges everyone the same! He shows no favorites, He treats everyone the same and gives us all the same opportunity for salvation!

“For Adonai your God is God of gods and LORD of lords, the great, mighty and awesome God, who has no favorites and accepts no bribes.”

Deuteronomy 10:17 CJB

What a comfort to know that the love of the LORD is the same for everyone. All we have to do is call on His name!

“But Adonai’s eyes watch over those who fear Him, over those who wait for His grace.”

Psalm 33:18 CJB

The best thing we can do to have peace throughout the day is to look to the LORD in every situation we are in! His standards and ways are always going to be better! Have a blessed day in Him!

Dwell on the LORD

“But just as the whole community were saying they should be stoned to death, the glory of Adonai appeared in the tent of meeting to all the people of Israel.”

Numbers 14:10 CJB

Here we see Joshua and Caleb saying let’s go in and take the land the LORD has given us and it’s not the world that comes at them, but their own people! The same can happen to us when we do what the LORD says we can get attacked by our own! Don’t worry about what others think just do what the LORD says! He will appear!

“You are agreeing today that Adonai is your God and that you will follow His ways; observe His laws, mitzvoth and rulings; and do what He says.”

Deuteronomy 26:17 CJB

We are living in times where things really are backwards. What we need to do is just walk in His ways and do what He says and don’t get caught up in the nonsense of the world!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”

Isaiah 5:20 CJB

Today don’t allow the crazy times we are living in control you making you bitter! Know that the LORD is completely in control so just follow hard after Him it’s going to work out just the way He planned it! Have a super sweet blessed day in Him!
