Share the love of the LORD

“Adonai said to Aharon, You, your sons and your father’s family line will be responsible for anything that goes wrong in the sanctuary. You and your sons with you will be responsible for anything wrong in your service as cohanim (priests).”

Numbers 18:1 CJB

As believers do we have responsibilities? Yes! We get to share the Good News of salvation and reflect the light of the LORD!

“But you, remain steady in every situation, endure suffering, do the work that a proclaimer of the Good News should, and do everything your service to God requires.”

2 Timothy 4:5 CJB

Yes, we are responsible for sharing the Good News, and we are accountable to the LORD to do it! Don’t think or believe it’s up to the other guy! As believers, it is all of our responsibility to share!

“But you are a chosen people, the Kings cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”

1 Peter 2:9 CJB

Today, let’s take hold of our responsibility in sharing the Good News of salvation! Realize how blessed we are to be called His special people, His priesthood! Have a blessed day reflecting His light!

Shine

“He stood between the dead and the living, and the plague was stopped.”

Numbers 17:13 CJB

We too are called to stand between the dead and the living, we need to reflect the light of the LORD (life) and the dead world around us!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16 CJB

The world around us is becoming darker full of death! As believers we maybe the only thing that people see that reflects the light of the LORD!

“On that day you will say, Give thanks to Adonai! Call on His name! Make His deeds known among the peoples, declare how exalted is His name.”

Isaiah 12:4 CJB

Today, let us stand in the gap, declare the name of the LORD among the people! Have a blessed day shinning the light of the LORD!

Pray

“They fell on their faces and said, Oh God, God of the spirits of all humankind, if one person sins, are you going to be angry with the entire assembly?”

Numbers 16:22 CJB

Two things to think about here. First: are we interceding for people around us, instead of judging them! Second: realize after we intercede in prayer the LORD will deal of them we don’t have to!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”

Numbers 32:23 CJB

Sinners will always eventually be uncovered by there sins, so we don’t have to! But, what we get to do is intercede in prayer, pray for people! We need to be a body of believers that pray for folks not talk about folks (gossip)!

“Or perhaps you despise the riches of His kindness, forbearance and patience; because you don’t realize that God’s kindness is intended to lead you to turn from your sins.”

Romans 2:4 CJB

Today, let’s be about praying for people, showing them the kindness of the LORD and hoping it will lead folks to repentance!

Have a blessed day!

Don’t look down, look up!

“Also, to some the were relying on their own righteousness and looking down on everyone else, He told this parable.”

Luke 18:9 CJB

We also need to be careful of this looking down at people around us as less! Be careful of comparing ourselves to others to make ourselves feel better or look better!

“Since all have sinned and come short of earning God’s praise.”

Romans 3:23 CJB

That’s right we all have blown it and we are all in need of salvation! We need the grace of the LORD and we need to share the grace of the LORD!

“But I can enter Your house because of Your great grace and love; I will bow down toward Your holy temple in reverence for You.”

Psalm 5:7 CJB

Today, let’s look up to the LORD and not down on others! Let’s point to the LORD and His amazing grace and let’s realize doing things our way doesn’t work. So let’s look to the LORD, reverence Him and walk in His ways!

Have a blessed day following the LORD!
