Share the love of the LORD

“Kalev silenced the people around Moshe and said, We ought to go up immediately and take possession of it; there is no question we can conquer it.”

Numbers 13:30 CJB

Why was Kalev (Caleb) so confident that they could take possession? Because God told them, He promised them they could take it!

“They will fight against you, but they will not overcome you, for I am with you, says Adonai, to rescue you.”

Jeremiah 1:19 CJB

Our biggest problem is fear. We are afraid to step out, afraid of rejection and afraid of failure! But, Jesus said: “Go into all the world and share the Good News of Salvation.”

“What, then, are we to say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?”

Romans 8:31 CJB

Today, let us step out and take possession of land. How? By simply sharing the love of the LORD and His salvation!

“With Adonai on my side, I fear nothing-what can human beings do to me? With Adonai on my side as my help, I will look with triumph at those who hate me.”

Psalm 118:6-7 CJB

So let’s go out and share the love of the LORD today and take possession of some land, so to speak! Don’t be timid. Remember, with the LORD on your side, what can man do to you? The answer is nothing! Have a blessed day sharing His love!

Celebrate the LORD

“We had to celebrate and rejoice, because this brother of yours was dead but has come back to life-he was lost but has been found.”

Luke 15:32 CJB

What are we celebrating? Life with our Father in Heaven or life in the world? Maybe we don’t have riches and houses, maybe we have issues and problems either way where and what do we put all your energy into? Celebrate our earthly joy or our earthly misery?

“No servant can be slave to two masters, for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money.”

Luke 16:13 CJB

We all really need to ask ourselves who do we serve? Its’s not a new question Joshua asks it in: “Joshua 24:15” Who are you going to serve? Elijah asks it in: “1 Kings 18:21” How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions?

Jesus makes it clear here you can’t serve both!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”

Psalm 100:2 CJB

Today, let’s choose to celebrate the Father, let’s rejoice in the fact that He saved us and not get caught up in the trappings of the world! Things are always better when we celebrate our Father in Heaven! Have a blessed day rejoicing in the LORD!

Dwell on the LORD

“I said, They should put a clean turban on his head. So they put a clean turban on his head and gave him fine robes to wear, while the angel of Adonai stood by.”

Zechariah 3:5 CJB

How awesome is this, the LORD puts a clean turban on our heads, no matter how messed up and dirty we are. All we have to do is call!

“Our God is a God who saves; from Adonai comes escape from death.”

Psalm 68:20 CJB

How does this happen? By the hand of the LORD not ours! All we have to do is call and confess!

“Then he answered me, This is the word of Adonai to Z’rubavel: Not by force, and not by power, but by My Spirit, says Adonai-Tzva’ot.”

Zechariah 4:6 CJB

Today, realize, you are clean and set free by the hand of the LORD! So don’t dwell on your problems, but instead call on the LORD and dwell on Him! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom!

Sing to the LORD

“Sing, daughter of Tziyon; rejoice! For, here, I am coming; and I will live among you, says Adonai.”

Zechariah 2:14 CJB

We, too, should be singing and rejoicing because the LORD lives among us!

“Sing to Him, sing praises to Him! Talk about all His wonders.”

1 Chronicles 16:9 CJB

No matter what may be happening in your life or in the world around you, good or bad, we have the LORD who dwells in our midst! This is something worth singing about!

“So I give thanks to You, Adonai, among the nations; I sing praises to your name.”

Psalm 18:50 CJB

Today, let’s get out there and praise the LORD and sing praise to His name. Let’s let people know how great and good the LORD is!

Have a blessed day sharing about the LORD!

Look to the LORD

“But the people began complaining about their hardships to Adonai. When Adonai heard it, His anger flared up, so that fire from Adonai broke out against them and consumed the outskirts of the camp.”

Numbers 11:1 CJB

How often do we complain about the situation we are in or the problems we are dealing with?

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says the LORD, Plans for – well being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”

Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

The LORD knows our situation and He knows how it’s going to work out! We need to trust the LORD and not throw in the towel or complain!

“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him; then He will level your paths.”

Proverbs 3:5-6 CJB

Today, look to the LORD, not your situation! Have a blessed day looking for the LORD!
