We need to be like Daniel, not afraid to worship the LORD and not worrying about what people think!

“Whoever acknowledges Me in the presence of others I will also acknowledge in the presence of My Father in heaven.”

Matthew 10:32 CJB

The LORD will never let us down when we are boldly sharing about Him! He will always stand up for us. So we never need to worry about what the world can do to us. Which is nothing!

“He saves, rescues, does signs and wonders both in heaven and on earth. He delivered Daniel from the power of the lions.”

Daniel 6:28 CJB

No matter what, when we stand for the LORD, He stands for us! He will deliver us from any sticky situation we may be in. Remember, the world has no power over us!

“But, Belshatzar, you his son, have not humbled your heart, even though you knew all this.”

Belshatzar saw everything that happened to his dad Nebuchadnezzar, when he was turned into a wild beast. He should have known better! The same goes for us we really should know right from wrong!

“If a person will not listen to Torah (instruction), even his prayer is an abomination.”

Proverbs 28:9 CJB

The word of the LORD gives us clear instruction on what to do and not to do and His Holy Spirit guides us. So we have no excuse not to do what is right!

“For Adonai keeps His eyes on the righteous, and His ears are open to their prayers; but the face of Adonai is against those who do evil things.”

1 Peter 3:12 CJB

Today, let’s be humble and not proud, let’s take in the word of the LORD and do what He says! Have a blessed day!

“So now I, N’vukhadnetzar, praise, exalt and honor the King of heaven; For all His works are truth, and His ways are just; and He can humble those who walk in pride.”

Daniel 4:34 CJB

When N’vukhadntzar hit rock bottom he finally came to his senses, he realized how great the LORD is!

“For Adonai is great, and greatly to be praised; He is to be feared more than all gods.”

Psalm 96:4 CJB

One of things we need to keep in mind is that throughout our day all kinds of things will come at us, life happens. What we need to remember, is we don’t need to fear them! Why? Because our LORD is bigger and greater!

“Great is Adonai and greatly to be praised; His greatness is beyond all searching out.”

Psalm 145:3 CJB

The only thing we should have pride in is how great the LORD is! Today, let’s keep searching for His truth and His greatness. Let’s not get all caught up in ourselves, let’s get caught up in the LORD!

“Suddenly N’vukhadnetzar sprang to his feet. Alarmed, he asked his advisers, Didn’t we throw three men, bound, into the flames? They answered the king, Yes, of course, your majesty. But he exclaimed, Look! I see four men, not tied up, walking around there in the flames, unhurt; and the fourth looks like one of the gods (Son of God)!”

Daniel 3:24-25 CJB

When we stand up for the LORD, He not only stands up for us, He unbinds us, then stands with us in the fiery trials we may be going through!

“Moreover, I tell you, whoever acknowledges Me in the presence of others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge in the presence of God’s angels. But whoever disowns Me before others will be disowned before God’s angels.”

Luke 12:8-9 CJB

We never have to worry about what might happen when we stand for the LORD as we see in this account, the fires of the world will never burn us! So put all your hope and trust in the LORD!

“Be strong, be bold, don’t be afraid or frightened of them, for Adonai your God is going with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 CJB

So no matter what trial you may be going through, health, wealth or persecution, remember, the LORD is right there with you!

Here Daniel is making it very clear to Nebuchadnezzar who really is in control, God not man! We all need to be careful of this!

“Where does that leave the philosopher, the Torah-teacher, or any of today’s thinkers? Hasn’t God made this world’s wisdom look pretty foolish?”

The God-inspired words of Daniel and Paul were written thousands of years ago and are still relevant for us today! No matter what politician, news personalities , celebrities or professors may say, they are all fools when we compare them to the LORD

“For God’s nonsense is wiser than humanity’s wisdom. And God’s weakness is stronger than humanity’s strength.”

1 Corinthians 1:25 CJB

Today, don’t let worldly wisdom creep into your lives, Realize it really is just worldly nonsense! Stay away from the traps and distractions of the world and seek after the beautiful life-giving wisdom of the LORD! Spend some time in prayer and in His word!
