Sing praises!

“Hear, kings; listen, princes; I will sing to Adonai! I will sing praise to Adonai the God of Israel.”

Judges 5:3 CJB

Every day we step out the door, we go into battle. With that said, just like Deborah and Barak, we should sing praises to the LORD because He always gives us victory!

“Sing to Adonai, all the earth! Proclaim His victory day after day!”

1 Chronicles 16:23 CJB

We always have victory in Jesus. He saved us from eternal damnation. That alone should make us sing! If we are singing praises to the LORD, no matter what is going on in life, it is always gonna be better!

“For, Adonai, what You do makes me happy; I take joy in what your hands have made.”

Psalm 92:4 CJB

Today, just look and see all the wonderful things the LORD does and sing praises to Him! Have a blessed day in Him!

Don’t settle in the world!

“Ya’akov (Jacob) continued living in the land where his father had lived as a foreigner, the land of Kena’an.

Genesis 37:1 CJB

Even though we are in the world we don’t need to be part of the world! The sad thing is as life goes on we have a tendency to settle for what the world has! As we continue reading we see the story of Jacob and his family will turn tragic rape, murder and incest, be careful of settling in the world!

“If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world-on the contrary, I have picked you out of the world-therefore the world hates you.”

John 15:19 CJB

We need to be careful of falling into worldliness and its trappings! Remember we don’t need to settle for the things of this world. We’ve been redeemed!

“My lips will shout for joy; I will sing Your praise, because you have redeemed me.”

Psalm 71:23 CJB

Today, don’t settle for the world and its trappings, step out in the LORD because we’ve been redeemed and called to share His glory! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom.

Victory in Jesus

“Thus God on that day defeated Yavin the king of Kena’an in the presence of the people of Israel.”

Judges 4:23 CJB

Love the fact all we have to do is step out in faith knowing the LORD has already won the war!

For we live by trust, not by what we see.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

We all have situations and issues going on in our lives and we really just need to pray and step out knowing we have victory in the LORD!

“Sing to Adonai, bless His name! Proclaim victory day after day!”

Psalm 96:2 CJB

Today, let’s rejoice in the fact that our LORD has defeated sin and death and we have victory in Him! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom!

Follow the LORD

“He said to them: Follow me, because Adonai has given your enemy Mo’av into your hands. They went after him, seized the fords of the Yarden opposite Mo’av and permitted no one to cross.”

Judges 3:28 CJB

The LORD has given us victory also and all we have to do is step out and take it! Often times what holds us back is our reluctance, our fear or our own misled minds!

“Claiming to be wise, they have become fools!”

Romans 1:22 CJB

We have victory when we do things the LORD’S way not ours, we can and do suffer defeat when we do things our own way.

“Thus was Mo’av subdued that day under the power of Israel. Then the land had rest for eighty years.”

Judges 3:30 CJB

Today, know we can and do have victory in the LORD. Be careful of trying to have everything the way you imagine it should be or want it to be! Have a blessed day following the LORD!

The LORD rescues

“But then Adonai raised up judges, who rescued them from the power of those who were plundering them.”

Judges 2:16 CJB

Just like the nation of Israel, every time they hit rock bottom God sent a judge to deliver them! Same goes for us!

“He delivers me from my enemies. You lift me high above my enemies, you rescue me from violent men.”

Psalm 18:49 CJB

How comforting to know when we blow it, the LORD is always right there to save and deliver us!

“Make Your face shine on Your servant; in Your grace, save me.”

Psalm 31:6 CJB

Have a blessed day knowing the LORD has help on the way, so just keep calling and waiting on Him.
