God has it covered

“Israel then said Yosef, You see that I am dying, but God will be with you and will bring you back to the land of your ancestors.”

Genesis 48:21 CJB

Here we see the faith Jacob has in the LORD, he knows the LORD is gonna come through with all His promises!

“Don’t let yourselves be disturbed. Trust in God and trust in Me. In My Father’s house are many places to live. If there weren’t, I would have told you; because I am going there to prepare a place for you. Since I am going and prepare a place for you, I will return to take you with me; so that where I am, you may be also.”

John 14:1-3 CJB

As we read through the word, we see how faithful God was to the patriarchs and the disciples! So He will be faithful to us! He says don’t worry He has all things worked out!

“So trust comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through a word proclaimed about the Messiah.”

Romans 10:17 CJB

Today, be encouraged to know the LORD is gonna get you through and get you home! Have a blessed day.

Shabbat Shalom.

The LORD hears

“So she prepared to return with her daughters-in-law from the plain of Mo’av; for in the plain of Mo’av she had heard how Adonai had paid attention to His people by giving them food.”

Ruth 1:6 CJB

Two things to think about here, first God hears our prayers! When we have issues and problems, all we have to do is call out to the LORD and He hears us!

“I cry aloud to God, aloud to God; and He hears me.”

Psalms 77:1 CJB

Secondly, we need to go to the LORD. That is where the food is!

“For God’s bread is the one who comes down out of heaven and gives life to the world.”

John 6:33 CJB

Real life-giving food comes from the LORD!

“I will sing to Adonai, because He gives me even more than I need.”

Psalm 13:6 CJB

Today, let’s find ourselves going to where the LORD is and spending time talking to Him. Remember, He hears!

Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom

Dig into the word

“At that time there was no king in Israel; a man simply did whatever he thought was right.”

Judges 21:25 CJB

Nothing has changed. People still do what they believe is right in their own eyes! What is sad is we see believers in Jesus doing the same thing!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”

John 14:15 CJB

Life is always going to be easier and more productive when we simply do what the LORD says!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”

1 John 5:3 CJB

Today, let’s look to and listen to the LORD and do what He says! We all have access to His word all we have to do is dig in, read it and then do it!

Have a blessed day doing what the LORD says!

God is always there

“And they asked Adonai what to do. The ark for the covenant of God was there at that time.”

Judges 20:27 CJB

The previous chapter was very disturbing and turned out to be a disaster, but here they are calling on the LORD!

“But I will call on God, and Adonai will save me.”

Psalm 55:16 CJB

When we call on the LORD in our time of trouble, He will always answer no matter how bad it is!

“I cry aloud to God, aloud to God; and He hears me.”

Psalm 77:1 CJB

Today no matter how good or bad things may look we need to go to the LORD for everything! Have a blessed day seeking Him!

Be careful

“Everyone who saw it said, From the day the people of Israel came up from Egypt until now, never has such a thing happened or been seen. What are we going to do about it? Talk it over and decide.”

Judges 19:30 CJB

In my opinion, this is one of the most horrific stories in the Bible and it all happened by being somewhere they shouldn’t have been, with people they shouldn’t be with and staying too long!

“At that time there was no king in Israel; a man simply did whatever he thought was right.”

Judges 21:25 CJB

There is always a king, He is the LORD and He is always watching us! Often times the problem is people ignore God or deny Him, so they can try to justify bad behavior!

“How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don’t stand on the way of sinners or sit where scoffers sit! Their delight is in Adonai’s Torah; on His Torah they meditate day and night.”

Psalm 1:1-2 CJB

Today, don’t linger in places that have no godly benefit, like politics, sports or spending too much time on social media, but instead spend time with the LORD and in His word! Have a blessed day in Him!
