Obey the LORD

“But when he consulted Adonai, Adonai didn’t answer him-not by dreams, not by trim and not by prophets.”
1 Samuel 28:6 CJB

Saul refused to listen to the LORD, who warned him not to disobey. Now he seems shocked when the end is near!

“Adonai has done for himself what he foretold through me-Adonai has torn the kingdom out of your hands and given it to your fellow countryman David, because you didn’t obey what Adonai said and execute His furious anger toward ‘Amalek. That’s why Adonai is doing this to you today.”
1 Samuel 28:17-18 CJB

The LORD always answers us, sometimes we may not like what He says, but understand He always knows best! So let’s listen to Him!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commandments.”
John 14:15 CJB

Today, let’s call upon the LORD and listen to Him doing what He says, it’s always better when we do! Have a blessed day calling on the LORD!

Do what the LORD says

“If you do this-and God is directing you to do it-you will be able to endure; and all these people too will arrive at their destination peacefully.”
Exodus 18:23 CJB

When we just do what God directs us to do through His word we will always go through life peacefully!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

The word of the LORD will always light our way!

“Those who love Your Torah (instruction) have great peace; nothing makes them stumble.”
Psalm 119:165 CJB

Today have a peaceful day spending time with the LORD and in His word!
Shabbat Shalom!

Hang out with the LORD

“After David had been living in the country of th P’lishtim for a year and four months, he and his men began going up and raiding the G’shuri, the Gizri and the Amaleki (from ancient times these people had lived in the land in the direction of Shur, all the way to Egypt.”

1 Samuel 27:7-8 CJB

When we are hanging out in places that we have no business in being, we start to become like them!

“Don’t be fooled. Bad company ruins good character.”

1 Corinthians 15:33 CJB

We all should be careful of where and what we spend our time at! Why? Because we do start to reflect the people we hang out with and the places we hang out in! Spend time with the LORD!

“Young lions can be needy, they can go hungry, but those who seek Adonai lack nothing good.”

Psalm 34:10 CJB

Today, let’s spend time with the LORD and not the world! Have a blessed day in Jesus!

Shabbat Shalom.

Don’t judge

“But David said to Avishai, Don’t destroy him! Nobody can raise his hand against Adonai’s anointed without becoming guilty!”

1 Samuel 26:9 CJB

Here we see David has an opportunity to kill Saul, but refuses to do so because he knows he is anointed by the LORD! We, too, need to be careful of attacking or even saying things against other brothers and sisters!

“Don’t touch My anointed ones or do my prophets harm!”

Psalm 105:15 CJB

We all really need to be careful of what we say and how we act toward one another! God will deal with bad behavior and we don’t have to! Pray for people instead!

“You have heard that our fathers were told, Do not murder, and that anyone who commits murder will be subject to judgment. But I tell you that anyone who nurses anger against his brother will be subject to judgment; that whoever calls his brother, ‘You good-for-nothing!’ will be brought before the Sanhedrin; that whoever says, ‘Fool!’ incurs penalty of burning in the fire of Gei-Hinnon!”

Matthew 5:21-22 CJB

Today, if you are having ill feelings toward someone or even judging them just let it go and let the LORD deal with them! Have a blessed day loving the LORD and His people!

Bless the LORD

“Some ten days later Adonai struck Naval, and he died.”

1 Samuel 25:38 CJB

No matter what is going on in our lives, realize the LORD will deal with it! All we have to do is praise Him, Worship Him and pray to Him!

“Enter His gates with thanksgiving, enter His courtyards with praise; give thanks to Him, and bless His name.”

Psalm 100:4 CJB

Knowing the LORD will deal with our problems and our enemies, so what we get to do is just praise and bless Him.

“For Adonai is good, His grace continues forever, and His faithfulness lasts through all generations.”

Psalm 100:5 CJB

Today, let’s praise the LORD and bless His name! Have a amazing day knowing He has it all covered!
