Be set apart!

“But you gave the n’zirim (Nazirites) wine to drink and ordered the prophets, Don’t prophecy!”
Amoas 2:12 CJB

Nazirites are supposed to be separated from the world and worldliness, just like us! Here they are given wine to stumble them and keep them from speaking of the LORD’S coming!
People are doing this today by lifting up preachers and teachers who become drunk on popularity and fame, then neglect sharing God’s truths!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth, but will turn aside to follow myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 CJB

Also we see many teachers today, neglecting to teach prophecy about the coming of our LORD, which we all should be looking for! Our hope is in the LORD and spending all eternity with Him, not living in this falling disastrous world!

“For it is in You, Adonai, that I hope . You will answer, Adonai my God.”
Psalm 38:15 CJB

Today, don’t get caught upon the trappings of the world, but instead get caught up in Him!
Have a blessed day looking to the LORD.

Forgiven

“He said: Adonai is roaring from Tziyon (Zion) thundering from Yerushalayim; the shepherds’ pastures will mourn, and Mount Karmel’s summit will wither.”
Amaos 1:2 CJB

The LORD is gonna deal with all the disobedience happening in the world and we all applaud that. But, when it comes to dealing with our sin we don’t get so excited about that!

“He will judge the world in righteousness; He will judge the peoples fairly.”
Psalm 9:8 CJB

When we are judged it will be totally fair and righteous, the good news is when we confess He forgives and our crimes are paid in full! This alone should make us love the LORD and want to walk in His ways!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

Today, know that we will all be judged, but also know that the grace of the LORD is much bigger!
Have a blessed day!

Mercy

“Adonai saw that the people on earth were very wicked, that all the imaginings of their hearts were always of evil only.”
Genesis 6:5 CJB

This is only the sixth chapter of the word of God. We see in the beginning God creates light, the earth and man then calls it good! Then we see lying, cheating, murder and now full blown evil! Looks like the world today, but God still shows grace!

“But Noach found grace in the sight of Adonai.”
Genesis 6:8 CJB

The same goes for us. No matter what we do, the LORD still finds us worthy of His grace. All we have to do is call upon Him!

“Make Your face shine on Your servant; in Your grace, save me.”
Psalm 31:16 CJB

Today, let’s thank the LORD for all His love, Grace and Mercy that He bestows on us who are totally undeserving!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom.

Shine

“I, Adonai, called you righteously, I took hold of you by the hand, I shaped you and made you a covenant for the people, to be a light for the Goyim (Gentiles), so that you can open blind eyes, free the prisoners from confinement, those living in darkness from the dungeon.”
Isaiah 42:6-7 CJB

Like the Jewish people, the LORD called us and took us by the hand to share His glorious good news of salvation!

“Let them give glory to Adonai and proclaim His praise in the coastlands.”
Isaiah 42:12 CJB

If you’re saved, then you’re called to go into the world (coastlands) to share the Gospel (good news) and reflect His glorious light. No matter what is going in our lives or the world, we still need to share the good news of Jesus!

“Sing to Adonai, bless His name! Proclaim His victory day after day!”
Psalm 96:2 CJB

Life is always better when we sing the praises of the LORD and share His good news!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray

“I know that You can do everything, that no purpose of Yours can be thwarted.”
Job 42:2 CJB

Job confesses that the LORD can do anything at any time! This means the LORD can do anything at anytime for us also! The good news is the LORD is at work all the time!

“Halleluyah! How good it is to sing praises to our God! How sweet, how fitting to praise Him!”
Psalm 147:1 CJB

When we realize how good God is and how He has everything covered, it should lead us to praise Him and walk in His ways! Also it should give us a desire to pray for others!

“When Iyov (Job) prayed for his friends, Adonai restored his fortunes; Adonai gave Iyov (Job) twice as much as he had before.”
Job 42:10 CJB

Today, knowing the LORD has us covered, we get to pray for those around us! Instead of complaining about people and situations, let’s be praying!
Have a blessed day in Him!
