Often times the LORD will take us out of our normal daily routines to share His good news of salvation! Remember, Amos was a shepherd just going through his daily routine and then the LORD called him out!

“Proclaim the Word! Be on hand with it whether the time seems right or not. Convict, censure and exhort with unfailing patience and with teaching.”
2 Timothy 4:2 CJB

We are to always be ready, willing and able to share about the LORD! Be on hand ready to go!

“Sing to Adonai, all the earth! Proclaim His victory day after day!”
1 Chronicles 16:23 CJB

We all have normal tasks in life, jobs, school or just the responsibilities of daily life! What we all need to do is be ready, because the LORD can call us at anytime to share!

“The rainbow will be in the cloud; so that when I look at it, I will remember the everlasting covenant between God and every living creature of any kind on the earth.”
Genesis 9:16 CJB

Here we see the LORD make a promise never to flood out the world again and gives us a rainbow to remind us of His promise (the Noach Covenant)! Great news, there won’t be a global flood; bad news, there will be a global melt down!

“However, the Day of the LORD will come like a thief On that Day the heavens will disappear with a roar, the elements will melt and disintegrate, and the earth and everything in it will be burned up.”
2 Peter 3:10 CJB

This could sound depressing for nonbelievers, but for us who believe this is encouraging, because better days are ahead with the LORD and this should give us hope! The word tells us there will be a new heaven and a new earth and Jesus went ahead to prepare a place for us!

“May Your mercy, Adonai, be over us, because we put our hope in You.”
Psalm 33:22 CJB

Today, don’t put your hope in the world and its stuff because it will all melt away! Instead be encouraged and put your hope in the LORD who will make all things new one day soon!

One day soon the LORD is gonna make things right perfect in His ways! Many things we spend time on like careers, houses and luxuries will be turned to rumble!

“You take pleasure in worthless things. You think your power comes from your own strength.”

We all need to do better at investing in the kingdom and sharing the Good News of the LORD!

“Sing to Adonai, bless His name! Proclaim His victory day after day!”
Psalm 96:2 CJB

Today, realize, the present state of the world will not last, but the LORD and us, His children will! So let’s get out there and share the Good News of the LORD. Also we can help by supportting ministries that do by praying and maybe helping out financially!
Let’s be about His Kingdom!

God is calling on us to seek His good and stay away from evil! Sometimes we have to make hard choices to follow Him and deny evil things! Be careful of compromising with evil just to fit in or to be comfortable!

“Eliyahu stepped forward before all the people and said, How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow Him; but if it’s Ba’al, follow him! The people answered him not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21 CJB

We need to be careful of getting involved in worldliness and ungodly things. Also be careful of turning a blind eye towards evil! We need to step up and step out!

“Only be strong and very bold in taking care to follow all the Torah which Moshe my servant ordered you to follow; do not turn from either to the right or to the left; then you will succeed wherever you go.”
Joshua 1:7 CJB

Today, let’s turn to the good of the LORD and turn away from evil!

The same goes for us. We need to be preparing ourselves to meet the LORD, because we will one day!

“Look to Me, and be saved, all the ends of the earth! For I am God; there is no other. In the name of Myself I have sworn, from my mouth has rightly gone out, a word that will not return-that to me every knee will bend before me, and every tongue will swear about Me that only Adonai are justice and strength. All who rage against Him will come to Him ashamed.”

How do we prepare? By being in His word and seeking Him daily!

“When you seek Me, you will find Me, provided you seek for Me wholeheartedly.”
Jeremiah 29:13 CJB

Today, no matter how things may look in the world, the only thing we should be preparing for is to meet the LORD which may be soon!
