Many people today are looking to worthless worldly idols for salvation and receive nothing! Understand politicians, doctors or even Bible teachers can’t save you. Only the LORD can and will when we call on Him!

“He alone is my Rock and Salvation, my Stronghold; I won’t be moved.”
Psalm 62:6 CJB

Even though we may have issues, struggles and troubles in life, remember, the LORD is our salvation!

“My safety and honor rest on God. My strong rock and refuge are in God.”
Psalm 62:7 CJB

Today, no matter what is going on, realize the LORD is our stronghold and His mercies are new every day! So don’t get tangled up in the world and its messes, instead stand in the stronghold of the LORD!

“The word of Adonai came to Yonah the son of Amitai: Set out for the great city of Ninveh, and proclaim to it that their wickedness has come to My attention.”

Like Jonah, the LORD calls us to proclaim the good news of salvation to the wicked, lost world!

“But Yonah, in order to get away from Adonai, prepared to escape to Tarshish. He went down to Yafo, found a ship headed for Tarshish, paid the fare and went aboard, intending to travel with them to Tarshish and get away from Adonai.”
Jonah 1:3 CJB

Again, like Jonah we are called to share, but do we try to escape get away from doing what the LORD calls us to do! Do we try to find a way out?

“However, Adonai let loose over the sea a violent wind, which created such stormy conditions that the ship threatened to break to pieces.”
Jonah 1:4 CJB

When the LORD calls us out to share, don’t refuse just go! Realize, He can and will put obstacles in our way to guide us to where we need to be!
Today, have a blessed day doing what the LORD calls us to do, share the Good News of Salvation!

“I am making you the least of all nations, you will be beneath contempt.”

As believers, we may be small and much of the world shows a contempt and hate towards us, but remember our LORD is great!

“He saved them from hostile hands, redeemed them from the power of the foe.”
Psalm 106:10 CJB

The LORD saves us and protects us from the hands of hostile nations! So no matter how hostile things get, the LORD has us!

“For You have been my help; in the shadow of Your wings I rejoice; my heart clings to You; Your right hand supports me.”
Psalm 63:7-8 CJB

Today, things may look dark and hostile. Remember, and be encouraged, because our LORD is bigger!

God kept His promises to Israel, so will He keep His promises to us! Be careful of falling into things that He didn’t promise! He promised never to leave us or forsake us, He promised to go before us and He promised to receive us to Himself!

“I take joy in Your promise, like someone who finds much booty.”
Psalm 119:162 CJB

The promises of the LORD are sweet and we can always count on them! Nowhere does He promise us we’d all be healthy, wealthy or even popular, not that these things can’t happen, but they are not promises!

“For Adonai-Tzvaot (LORD of hosts) has sent me on a glorious mission to the nations that plundered you, and this is what He says: Anyone who injures you injures the very pupil of My eye.”
Zechariah 2:12 CJB 2:8 NKJB

Today, know that the LORD has us and is going to keep all His promises! He will always be with us no matter what situation we are going through!

We are seeing this happen today as people, government and even churches reject the word of God, a famine for His word is coming upon the land! Everyone has access to the word of God!
But who studies it, reads it or even believes it? Sadly, not many!

“So trust comes from what is heard, and what is heard comes through a Word proclaimed about the Messiah.”
Romans 10:17 CJB

In other words, what we see in society today is the rejection of God! Why? I believe it’s a lack of hearing, teaching and sharing His word! Realize, we need to be hearing and doing His word!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

This can’t be stated enough. We need to be a body of believers who not only hears, reads and studies the Word of God, but we need to do and share it also!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against you.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Today, let’s be about doing and sharing the Word of God, even if we are rejected, just keep going!
