The LORD has it covered

“Woe to those who think up evil and plan wickedness as they lie in bed. When morning comes, they do it, since they have it in their power.”
Micah 2:1 CJB

This sounds like people today, staying up all night devising evil plans to act upon!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

We are definitely living in times of backwardness, where evil is acceptable and good is looked down upon! We actually see people plan and act on wickedness and applaud it! Just listen to the music, movies, politicians and nightly news commentators and hear the evil wicked things they spew!

“Adonai saw that the people on earth were very wicked, that all the imaginings of their hearts were always of evil only.”
Genesis 6:5 CJB

Just like in the days of Noah, God didn’t let the people get away with evil! Realize, neither will He today!
Have a blessed day knowing He will make all things right!

Listen to the LORD

“Listen, peoples, all of you! Pay attention, earth, and everything in it! Adonai Elohim will witness against you, from His holy temple.”
Micah 1:2 CJB

The LORD is talking to everyone here, every man, woman and child and we all need to pay attention! We also need to be careful of using worldly numbers and devices to guide us, the LORD’S way is all that really matters!

“Hear, oh heavens, as I speak! Listen, earth, to the words from My mouth!”
Deuteronomy 32:1 CJB

As we see the world around us going down the tubes, the key is to listen to the LORD! The LORD has all the answers we need and we can find it in His word! We just need to be in it!

“Listen, My people, to My teaching; turn your ears to the words of My mouth.”
Psalm 78:1 CJB

Today, we need to really tune into the voice of the LORD. He is exactly what we need! We also need to look at people through the lenses of the LORD, not the world’s.
Have a blessed day in Him!

Salvation

“God asked Yonah, Is it right for you to be so angry about the castor-bean plant? He answered, Yes, it’s right for me to be so angry that I could die!”
Jonah 4:9 CJB

Here we see Jonah being more concerned about a plant than the people saved in Nineveh! We can be guilty of doing the same, caring more about a plant so to speak, rather than souls being saved!

“”Adonai said, You’re concerned over the castor-bean plant, which cost you no effort; you didn’t make it grow; it came up in a night and perishes in a night.”
Jonah 4:10 CJB

We see the same things happening around us: save the rainforest, save the whale and save the environment. What we should be more concerned about is saving souls! Sadly, so many people around us are on their way to hell and we have the Good News of Jesus that can save them! We need to be sharing!

“So shouldn’t I be concerned about the great city of Nineveh, in which there are more than 120,000 people who don’t know their right hand from their left-not to mention all the animals?”
Jonah 4:11 CJB

The answer is yes, we should be concerned with the salvation of the lost! Understand, this is what the LORD calls us to do, share the Good News of Salvation!
Let’s have a blessed day sharing the Good News of the LORD!

Be doers of good!

“When God saw by their deeds that they had turned from their evil way, He relented and did not bring on them the punishment He had threatened.”
Jonah 3:10 CJB

Here we see that the people of Ninevah not only heard from the LORD, they acted on it, they repented and did good! So should we hear and do what the LORD says!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

The LORD doesn’t want us to just be hearers, but to be doers also! We need to get out there and share the Good News of Salvation!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

As we see the darkness happening in the world around us today, we really need to get out there and do our part! Share His Good News of Salvation and reflect His glorious light!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Listen to the LORD

“So Avram went, as Adonai had said to him, and lot went with him. Avram was 75 years old when he left Haran.”
Genesis 12:4 CJB

Here we see Avram (Abraham) does what the LORD tells Him to do, step out and leave to a land he has never seen. So at 75 years old he goes! Remember, he couldn’t google the directions, has no GPS or modern transportation and we don’t hear Abraham complain or make excuses, he just goes! Do we, when the LORD calls?

“Don’t be afraid, for I am with you; don’t be distressed, for I am your God. I give you strength, I give you help, I support you with My victorious right hand.”
Isaiah 41:10 CJB

We need to do the same, just go when the LORD tells us and do what He tells us! We really have it way easier than Abraham. We don’t have to travel great distances in strange lands, we just have to share the Good News to strange and lost people near us!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, understand no matter how bad things are around us, the LORD has saved us from death and destruction! That is Good News that we should share!
May your day be filled with His blessings!
Shabbat Shalom!
