God keeps His promises

“Adonai told Moshe to give this order to the people of Israel: When you enter the land of Kena’an, it will become your land to pass on as an inheritance, the land of Kena’an as defined by these borders.”
Numbers 34:1-2 CJB

This chapter really gives us the God’s unmistakable borders of the land of Israel. Regardless of who tries to claim it today, the land belongs to Israel! God keeps His promises!

“For I say that the Messiah became a servant of the Jewish people in order to show God’s truthfulness by making good His promises to the Patriarchs.”
Romans 15:8 CJB

One of the greatest things we can do is repeatedly tell the story of God keeping His promises, reminding ourselves and others of how He says what He means and means what He says!

“On that day you are to tell your son, It is because of what Adonai did for me when I left Egypt.”
Exodus 13:8 CJB

Everyday is a good day to share what Adonai has done and how He keeps His promises, He will get us through!
Have a blessed day sharing with others!
Shabbat Shalom!
Chag Pesach!

Be encouraged

“Moshe recorded each of the stages of their journey by order of Adonai; here are the starting-points of each stage.”
Numbers 33:2 CJB

It is good for us to remember and even record the great things that Adonai has done for us. It helps us to be encouraged in our present situations!

“Only fear Adonai, and serve Him faithfully with all your heart; for think what great things he has done for you!”
1 Samuel 12:24 CJB

Life can be and is challenging from time to time. Having reminders of the great things He has done for us can strengthen us.

“Adonai is near those with broken hearts; He saves those whose spirit is crushed.”
Psalm 34:18 CJB

No matter what season you may be in, good or bad, remember Adonai is with you and is getting you through!
Have a blessed day knowing that Adonai will get you through! Just remember the ones He has already gotten you through!

Do what Adonai says

“If you regard us favorably, they went on, let this land be given to your servants as their possession; and don’t have us cross the Yarden.”
Numbers 32:5 CJB

God gave Israel the promised land to go in and take as a possession, but the tribes of Gad and Re’uven want to change the rules and take what they wanted! As we will see, God grants them what they want, but it doesn’t turn out so well for them!

“Moshe answered the descendants of Gad and of Re’uven: Are your brothers to go to war while you stay here?”
Numbers 32:6 CJB

As Gad and Re’uven are trying to change the rules with God, they are also looking to get out of the work! When we try to change the rules and have our own way, not God’s, it usually is to get out of doing the work Adonai has given us!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

Today, know God has given us all something to do as we move towards the promised land with Him! So don’t try to get out of things Adonai has given you to do. Instead embrace it, no matter how hard, and just do it! Know that Adonai is right there with you and you will have victory!
Have a blessed day!

Seek Adonai

“Adonai said to Moshe, On behalf of the people of Israel, take vengeance on Midyanim. After that, you will be gathered to your people.”
Numbers 31:1-2 CJB

When we read this verse, it shows us that we are not to do anything without Adonai’s approval. We should never just do things because we feel it’s right!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

God’s ways of doing things is often way different than what we may think or do! That’s why we should always seek Him first!

“As high as the sky is above the earth are my ways higher than your ways, and My thoughts than your thoughts.”
Isaiah 55:9 CJB

Man’s ways never have faith, grace and mercy all wrapped up in one! Only God has all three and He also sees the whole picture too, so follow after Adonai today!
Have a blessed day consulting God in everything!

Keep your promises

“But if her husband entirely holds his peace with her day after day, then he confirms all her vows and obligations; he must let them stand, because he held his peace with her on the day he heard them.”
Numbers 30:15 CJB

When we read through this chapter we can see we need to be careful of the vows we make! When we promise to do things we need to follow through and keep them! We really need to think and pray before we commit to doing and saying things!

“Just let your ‘Yes” be a simple ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ a simple ‘No’; anything more than this has its origin in evil.”
Matthew 5:37 CJB

We need to make what we say understandable and clear, Yes is a Yes and a No is a No!

“Don’t let your words make you guilty, and don’t tell the temple official that you made the vow by mistake. Why give God reason to be angry at what you say and destroy what you have accomplished?”
Ecclesiastes 5:5 CJB

Today, let’s be more prayerful and mindful on what we say and do! Be careful of making vows and promises you can’t keep!
Have a blessed day in Adonai!
