Bless the LORD

“You are to offer these to Adonai at your designated times in addition to your vows and voluntary offerings-whether these are your burnt offerings, grain offerings, drink offerings or peace offerings.”
Numbers 29:39 CJB

These offerings are above and beyond what was required, but we should always go above and beyond when it comes to Adonai!

“I will offer a sacrifice of thanks to You and will call on the name of Adonai.”
Psalm 116:17 CJB

We need to praise God in everything we do and everywhere we go, no matter how things around us may look!

“Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called in accordance with His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 CJB

Today, let’s all be about praising Adonai, no matter how things may look around us! The world can and does look pretty bad, but with Adonai it’s all going to work out just right!
Have a blessed day loving Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Don’t be infected by the world

“If we say, We’ll enter the city, then the city has been struck by famine, so we’ll die there. And if we sit still here, we’ll also die. So let’s go and surrender to the army of Aram; if they spare our lives, we will live; and if they kill us, we’ll only die.”
2 Kings 7:4 CJB

Understand these leprous or infected ones didn’t have very many choices or options, what they did was put their faith in the hands of Adonai! They trusted no matter what the consequences were!

“Look at the proud: he is inwardly not upright; but the righteous will attain life through trusting faithfulness.”
Habakkuk 2:4 CJB

Often times we can’t go by what we see or what we think. We have to trust who we know and that is Adonai, who never waivers and always does what He says, never leaving or forsaking us! We just need to trust!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, understand it can be hard to go through life when we see the physical problems in the world! What we have to do is trust Adonai because He knows all and sees all!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

He makes all things new!

“Give an order to the people of Israel. Tell them, You are to take care to offer Me at the proper time the food presented to Me as offering made by fire, providing a fragrant aroma for Me.”
Numbers 28:2 CJB

What’s the proper time to make an offering? The answer is anytime! What can we possibly offer to Adonai? Answer: ourselves and all our problems. Why? So He can clean us and make us new! He takes care of all things we just have to be willing to give all up to Him!

“Come to Me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 CJB

We all have things we are struggling with. The best thing we can do is offer them to Adonai and watch what He’ll do!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Today, realize we all have struggles, but Adonai has a plan, so let’s encourage each other in that!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

God is fair

“The daughters of Tz’lof’chad are right in what they say. You must give them property to be inherited along with their father’s brothers; have what their father would have inherited pass to them.”
Numbers 27:7 CJB

Even here we see God was the first to grant women’s rights. In fact, God looks at everyone equally, unlike the world and pagan religions do! God is totally upright, fair and perfect in everyway!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

Again, Adonai has given us all equal ground to walk on, no matter what our situation may be! We’ve been told by Adonai how to walk, how to act and how to treat those around us! We need to really be His humble servants!

“The humble He guides in justice, And the humble He teaches His way.”
Psalm 25:9 CJB

Today, let’s be thankful we have a perfect and fair God to serve!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Take account

“Theses are the ones counted by Moshe and Elazar the Cohen, who took a census of the people of Israel in the plains of Moav by the Yarden(Jordan) across from Yericho(Jericho).”
Numbers 26:63 CJB

Here we see God asking Moshe to count the people, take an assessment of who is with him! We also should take time to assess the the things and people in our lives!

“Take care to know the condition of your flocks, and pay attention to your herds.”
Proverbs 27:23 CJB

We really do need to look at ourselves and our surroundings. It is really easy to assess others and even judge them, but ignore our own messes!

“If we would examine ourselves, we would not come under judgment.”
1 Corinthians 11:31 CJB

Today is a good day as any to do some self reflection! Check ourselves and see if anything needs some changing!
Have a blessed day taking account of yourself!
