Step out

“Finally Adonai said to me, You have been going around this mountain long enough! Head north.”
Deuteronomy 2:2-3 CJB

Does this sound like us? Going in circles, stuck in the same rut or just staying too long in the same place! We all need to step out in faith!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

Everyday is the day that Adonai has made, we just need to be bold and step out! If you feel like you are in a rut, then it’s really time to take a chance and move in faith, trusting Adonai!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”
James 1:22 CJB

Today, let’s all step out in faith, being careful of just staying in the same place! Take a chance and do something new in Adonai! Hear His word and do it!
Have a blessed day!

He prepares the way

“Yet in this matter you don’t trust Adonai your God, even though He went ahead of you, seeking out places for you to pitch your tents and showing you which way to go, by fire at night and by a cloud during the day.”
Deuteronomy 1:32-33 CJB

Like the children of Israel, we have nothing to be afraid of! Why? Because Adonai goes before us and prepares the way!

“But Adonai-it is He who will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you, so don’t be afraid or downhearted.”
Deuteronomy 31:8 CJB

What do we have to fear? Nothing! Our God not only goes ahead of us, to prepare the way, but He also follows us protecting our back!

“Trust in Adonai with all your heart; do not rely on your own understanding.”
Proverbs 3:5 CJB

Today, don’t rely on jobs, governments or yourself, but instead trust in Adonai who will never let you down!
Have a blessed day trusting Adonai in everything!

Follow God

“These are the mitzvot (commandments) and rulings which Adonai gave through Moshe to the people of Israel in the plains of Mo’av by Yarden, across from Jericho.”
Numbers 36:13 CJB

As this book ends Moshe’s public ministry with the people of Israel, it showed all their failure, rebellion, complaining and tears, which we can also see in our lives! It also shows us a picture of our lives. We can also walk in rebellion or do life God’s way! The choice is always ours!

“Eliyahu stepped forward before all the people and said, How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow Him; but if it’s Ba`al, follow him! The answered him not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21 CJB

We all have the same choice to make: God or the gods of the world! Understand we can’t serve both and we really do need to give an answer!

“No one can be slave to two masters; for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money.”
Matthew 6:24 CJB

Today, we all really need to be about serving God and the best way to do that is follow His mitzvot (commands). Why? Because life His way is always going to be better!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Yeshua is our refuge

“Tell the people of Israel, When you cross the Yarden into the land of Kena`an, you are to designate for yourselves cities of refuge for you, to which anyone who kills someone by mistake can flee.”
Numbers 35:10-11 CJB

So thankful that we have Yeshua as our city of refuge, but you might say I haven’t killed anyone! We need to listen to what Yeshua said about that!

“You have heard that our fathers were told, Do not murder, and that anyone who commits murder will be subject to judgment. But I tell you that anyone who nurses anger against his brother will be subject to judgment; that whoever calls his brother, You good-for-nothing! will be brought before the Sanhedrin; that whoever says, Fool! incurs the penalty of burning in the fire of Gei-Hinnom!”
Matthew 5:21-22 CJB

According to Yeshua, even if we have evil or angry thoughts against someone, we’ve technically murdered them in our hearts!
We need to be so thankful that Yeshua is our refuge! Why? Ask yourself how many times do you get angry with someone?

“Adonai is righteous in all His ways, full of grace in all He does.”
Psalm 145:17 CJB

Today, know that we are all guilty at one time or the other of murdering someone, hopefully not physically, but for sure in our heart or mind! We need to be thankful for Yeshua being our refuge!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Celebrate salvation

“Therefore you are to observe this regulation at its proper time, year after year.”
Exodus 13:10 CJB

Not just the seven days of unleavened bread, but Pesach (Passover) as well! Why? As believers we should take time to remove the leaven (sin) from our lives and reflect on how God passed over our sins by His blood!

“Yah is my strength and my song, and He has become my salvation. This is my God: I will glorify Him; my father’s God: I will exalt Him.”
Exodus 15:2 CJB

Everything really does revolve around Adonai and the amazing things He’s done and will do!

“Shout for joy to Adonai, all the earth!”
Psalm 100:1 CJB

Today, as somber as Pesach (Passover) can be, we as believers should see the joy of celebrating salvation, not year after year, but day after day!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
Chag Pesach!
