God is bigger

“For God’s nonsense is wiser than humanity’s wisdom. And God’s weakness is stronger than humanity’s strength.”
1 Corinthians 1:25 CJB

In other words, the most insignificant thing that God does is mightier and wiser than the best thing man can put forward!

“For You are great, and You do wonders; You alone are God.”
Psalm 86:10 CJB

God easily out does anything man can do. He also uses the simplest things to make the wisest things of man look foolish!

“But God chose what the world considers nonsense in order to shame the wise; God chose what the world considers weak in order to shame the strong; and God chose what the world looks down on as common or regards as nothing in order to bring to nothing what the world considers important.”
1 Corinthians 1:27-28 CJB

Today, realize even the best thing the world puts forward is nothing compared to what God does! We serve an amazing and awesome God who has all things under control!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Be careful of division

“I urge you, brothers, to watch out for those who cause divisions and put snares alongside the teaching in which you have been trained-keep away from them.”
Romans 16:17 CJB

It’s real easy to see people that are not believers causing division around us! What we need to be on the lookout for is people on the inside causing division, teaching false doctrine and sharing half truths!

“They all tell lies to each other, flattering with their lips, but speaking from divided hearts.”
Psalm 12:2 CJB

These are things we need to be on the watch for, divisive language, flattering lips and false teaching! How do we combat this? By studying our Bibles and seeking God’s wisdom and direction, not fleshly desires!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth, but will turn aside to follow myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 CJB

Today, more than ever we, as believers, really need to be studying and knowing our Bibles! There are a lot of false, misleading and divisive people inside the body of believers, unfortunately some of them are the leaders and teachers!
May your day be richly blessed seeking the LORD!

God’s way is always easier!

“For everything written in the past was written to teach us, so that with the encouragement of the Tanakh (Old Testement) we might patiently hold on to our hope.”
Romans 15:4 CJB

The Old Testament shows us how God wants us to live and walk, by using His wisdom through His word to guide us!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against you.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

We really need to be digging into the word of God daily going through His word systematically! Starting in Genesis and going through to Revelation, then doing it all over again and again! Every problem and every situation you get into will be covered!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, understand we can learn through life’s experiences or using God’s word, the choice is ours! The easier way using God’s word or the harder way doing it on your own!
Have a blessed day following the LORD!

Elevate the LORD

“Adonai said To Moshe.”
Numbers 4:21 CJB

When the LORD speaks, we need to listen and elevate what He has to say! This is found through out scripture Adonai said, the LORD speaks or hear My voice!

“Hear, my people, while I give you warning! Israel, if you would only listen to Me!”
Psalm 81:8 CJB

The best thing we can do is listen to the LORD, do what He says and elevate His holy name!

“Therefore, humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, so that at the right time He may lift you up.”
1 Peter 5:6 CJB

Today, let’s humble ourselves before the LORD and do what He says in His word! The best thing we can do is lift up the LORD and elevate Him. He will always lift us up!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Look in the mirror

“You then, why do you pass judgment on your brother? Or why do you look down on your brother? For all of us will stand before God’s judgment seat; since it is written in the Tanakh, As I live, says Adonai, every knee will bend before me, and every tongue will publicly acknowledge God.”
Romans 14:10-11 CJB also found in Isaiah 45:23

What the LORD is saying here is spend less time looking at other people and their problems and spend more time looking at our own issues!

“So then, every one of us will have to give account of himself to God.”
Romans 14:12 CJB

Remember, we will not be judged on what others do, but we will be judged on what we did!

“When I acknowledge my sin to you, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then You, You forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

Today, let’s really do some self reflection and repent of what we do wrong, knowing that the LORD will forgive!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
