Magnify the LORD

“Well, whatever you do, whether it’s eating or drinking or anything else, do it all so as to bring glory to God.”
1 Corinthians 10:31 CJB

In everything we do we should really try to bring glory to the LORD, that means everything we do!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

It doesn’t say do good things so your name can be in the spotlight, it says let your good works shine so the LORD can be glorified!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s look for every opportunity to glorify the LORD!
Have a blessed day magnifying the LORD today!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be light

“With the “weak” I became “weak,” in order to win the “weak.” With all kinds of peoples I have become all kinds of things, so that in all kinds of circumstances I might save at least some of them.”
1 Corinthians 9:22 CJB

The point Paul is making here is be careful of judging or arguing with people, but instead look for opportunities to share the Good News! Look for common ground!

“But I do it all because of the rewards promised by the Good News, so that I may share in them along with others who come to trust.”
1 Corinthians 9:23 CJB

We need to be more about people coming to Yeshua than pushing people away from Yeshua! Often times we may be guilty of pushing folks away!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, let’s be more about shining for the LORD so that we can bring more people to trusting in Yeshua!
Have blessed day sharing about the LORD!

Love the LORD

“However, if someone loves God, God knows him.”
1 Corinthians 8:3 CJB

How do we love God? By knowing Him and having a deep desire to walk in His ways and continuously reading His love letter to us (The Bible)! When you love someone you will want to know them!

“Sh’ma, Israel! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Israel! Adonai our God, Adonai is one]; and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 CJB

When we love the LORD we will do what He desires us to do instead of doing our desires! The closer we walk with the LORD the more His desires become ours!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB

Today, let’s really cling to the LORD, loving Him and doing life the way He tells us to! Remember, He has a complete hold on us!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Walk in His ways

“Being circumcised means nothing, and being uncircumcised means nothing; what does mean something is keeping God’s commandments.”
1 Corinthians 7:19 CJB

We are aways going to be better off following the commands of the LORD! Not legalistically, but because we love the LORD!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands; and I will ask the Father, and He will give you another comforting Counselor like Me, the Spirit of Truth, to be with you forever.”
John 14:15-16 CJB

We see all through the word of God that He desires us to walk in His ways, because He knows what is best for us!

“How happy is everyone who fears Adonai, who lives by His ways.”
Psalm 128:1 CJB

Today, let’s really look to see how we can live and walk in the ways of the LORD!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Keep it clean

“Or don’t you know that your body is a temple for the Ruach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit) who lives inside you, whom you received from God? The fact is, you don’t belong to yourselves; for you were bought at a price. So use your bodies to glorify God.”
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 CJB

When we really think about the price Yeshua paid for us it should lead us to want to walk in His ways! Doing things as His word directs us!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

How blessed we are to be saved by the grace that God has given us and because of that kindness we should repent and really press in to walk in His ways!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands; and I will ask the Father, and He will give you the comforting Counselor like Me, the Spirit of Truth, to be with you forever.”
John 14:15 CJB

Today, we need to realize how blessed we are that the Holy Spirit dwells in us, so let’s keep our temples clean!
Have a blessed day in Him!
