Be in the Word of God

“Adonai said to Moshe.”
Leviticus 6:1 CJB

The idea here is we need to hear and obey what Adonai is saying! He is not concerned with our rituals or religious ceremonies! He desires us to simply listen to His voice!

“Sh’mu’el said, “Does Adonai take as much pleasure in burnt offerings and sacrifices as in obeying what Adonai says? Surely obeying is better than sacrifice, and heeding orders than the fat of rams.”
1Samuel 15:22 CJB

Adonai simply just wants us to do what He says and not what we want! Why? Because His ways are always going to be better!

“If you love me, you will keep my commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

One of the reasons I believe God gave such lengthy instructions is so we’d learn His ways! Repetitive instructions always help us to have muscle memory! This is why we need to be in the Word of God on a daily basis!
Have a blessed day studying the Word of God!

Keep your word

“If someone allows to slip from his mouth an oath to do good, and he doesn’t remember that he clearly spoke this oath, then, no matter what it was about, when he learns of it, he is guilty.”
Leviticus 5:4 CJB

What we need to do is be careful of oaths and vows, we need to be careful of what we say and promise!

“But if a vow passes your lips, you must take care to perform it according to what you voluntarily vowed to Adonai your God, what you promised in words spoken aloud.”
Deuteronomy 23:24 CJB

We need to stand by what we say and do! If we speak out of turn we also need to make it right!

“Just let your ‘Yes’ be a simple ‘Yes,’ and your ‘No’ a simple ‘No’; anything more than this has its origin in evil.”
Matthew 5:37 CJB

Let’s stand by what we say and do! Also let’s make what we say and do centered around Adonai!
have a blessed day!

Forgiven

“When a leader sins and inadvertently does something against any of the mitzvot (commands) of Adonai concerning things which should not be done, he is guilty.”
Leviticus 4:22 CJB

How amazing this would be if the leaders of the world would admit it when they are guilty and repent! With that said we should always admit our guilt!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

When we confess our sins and repent and turn to God, we are freed from living in oppression! What a blessing to be forgiven!

“How blessed are those whose offense is forgiven, those whose sin is covered!”
Psalm 32:1 CJB

This is so encouraging! Why? Because when we repent, God covers and forgives our sins! We truly are blessed by His grace!
May your day be blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

Come in and dine!

“The Cohen will make it go up in smoke on the altar; it is food, and offering made by fire to Adonai.”
Leviticus 3:11 CJB

This sacrifice was really to symbolize a meal between God and the one offering it! How cool is that! Having a meal with God!

“Here, I’m standing at the door, knocking. If someone hears My voice and opens the door, I will come in and eat with him, and he will eat with Me.”
Revelation 3:20 CJB

Yeshua is always wanting us to return to Him and dine with Him! Having a meal is one of the most intimate things we can do!

“Then I will go to the altar of God, to God, my joy and delight; I will praise you on the lyre, God, my God.”
Psalm 43:4 CJB

Everything we need is in Adonai, so let’s spend time dining with Him, spending quality time with Him!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
