Remove the junk

“You shall not offer strange incense on it, or a burnt offering, or a grain offering; nor shall you pour a drink offering on it.”

Exodus 30:9 NKJB

We all need to check and take account of what we allow into our homes, cars and minds! We should also check where we go, what we post and how much time we waste on things! Because these things affect how we interact (Pray) with the LORD. They can be strange offerings!

“Who may go up to the mountain of Adonai? Who can stand in His holy place? Those with clean hands and pure hearts, who don’t make vanities the purpose of their lives or swear oaths just to deceive.”

Psalm 24:3-4 CJB

Today is a good day to check and remove things that may be strange! Realize, it’s the LORD who saves, but we can do our part and remove bad thoughts, attitudes and lifestyle choices!

“Do not turn to the right or the left; Remove your foot from evil.”

Proverbs 4:27 NKJB

The Lord has given us all discernment we should know right from wrong, good or bad and simply remove what’s not godly! Don’t allow strange things to come into your life! Have a blessed day offering up sweet aromas to the LORD!

It takes a little effort

“I will dwell among the children of Israel and be their God.”

Exodus 29:45

When we read through these chapters we can see how much effort it took to walk with the LORD! The good news is He is with us every step of the way, but we still need to put Some effort into walking with Him, we need to participate!

“Be strong and of good courage, do not fear nor be afraid of them; for the LORD your God, He is the One who goes with you. He will not leave you nor forsake you.”

Deuteronomy 31:8

Life always comes with its daily set of trials, things we have to work through. Ask yourself how much effort do you put in the trials and how much effort do you put in with the LORD? Often times we’ll find that we spend way more time on life’s situations than with the LORD!

‘He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the LORD require of you But to do justly, To love mercy, And to walk humbly with your God?

Micah 6:8

Today, realize, every situation that you walk through the LORD is well aware of it! How you got there, why you got there and how you will get through it? So it would make sense for us to spend more time with Him, resting in Him, because He knows the final outcome! let’s dwell in the presence of the LORD today! Have a blessed day walking with Him.

Don’t be ordinary

“And you shall make holy garments for Aaron your brother, for glory and for beauty.”

Exodus 28:2

Understand the Hebrew meaning of holy is special, set apart, not ordinary! This should go for us today also! Are we set apart from the world around us or do we act and look just like the world around us? God has called us to be His special people!

“But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light.”

1 Peter 2:9

The LORD chose us to be holy, not ordinary, to be set apart! He desires us to walk in His ways, not in the ways of the world!

“But know that the LORD has set apart for Himself him who is godly; The LORD will hear when I call Him.”

Psalm 4:3

Today, let’s be set apart from the world around us, don’t be ok with fitting or blending in! Have a blessed day standing out for the LORD!

Life can make us dull!

“And you shall command the children of Israel that they bring you pure oil of pressed olives for the light, to cause the lamp to burn continually.”

Exodus 27:20

Is your lamp burning for the LORD or are you becoming a dim bulb? We all have situations that happen in our lives that can make us dull! Life can wear us out. What we need is more of the LORD poured into our lives!

“Your word is a lamp to my feet And a light to my path.”

Psalm 119:105

When life seems to get dull or you feel like your walk is getting rusty! Chances are you need to spend some time with the LORD in His word!

“I rejoice at Your word As one who finds great treasure!”

Psalm 119:162

Today, spend some time getting into the word and watch the Holy Spirit pour some oil into your life and get your lamp burning for the LORD! Have a blessed day!
