Share the goodness of the LORD

“However, Jesus did not permit him, but said to him, Go home to your friends, and tell them what great things the LORD has done for you, and How He had compassion on you. And he departed and began to proclaim in Decapolis all that Jesus had done for him; and all marveled.”

Mark 5:19-20

Just a few verses earlier, this guy was living in a graveyard possessed by demons! Now he is of a clear mind, wanting to stay with Jesus, but He tells him to go and share the good news of salvation!

“The LORD has done great things for us, And we are glad.”

Psalm 126:3

Like this ex demon possessed man, the LORD has done great and amazing things for us too! He saved us! So, too, we should go out and proclaim the great things that the LORD has done!

“Sing to the LORD, all the earth; Proclaim the good news of His salvation from day to day.”

1 Chronicles 16:23

Even if you are going through some rough times today, maybe health issues, finances or a major decision that needs to be made. The thing we still get to do is proclaim and share how good the LORD is! Have a blessed day proclaiming the good news of salvation!

Shabbat Shalom.

Be set apart for the LORD

“This is the law (Instruction) of the temple: The whole area surrounding the mountaintop is most holy. Behold, this is the law of the temple.” Ezekiel 43:12

We are the people of the LORD. We need to understand we are also His temple! With that in mind, we need to be holy (set apart), not ordinary, just fitting into the world around us!

“Do you not know that you are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?”

1 Corinthians 3:16

We need to remember, that the LORD dwells inside us and that we belong to Him! So we should really think and pray about what we say, where we go and how we act!

“For He is our God, And we are the people of His pasture. And the sheep of His hand. Today, if you will hear His voice.”

Psalm 95:7

In other words, we really need to be listening for the voice of the LORD! Why? Because we are His sheep and we need to be holy (set apart) for Him! Don’t fit into the world, but instead be set apart for the LORD! Have a blessed day in Him.
