“David was afraid of the LORD that day; and he said, How can the ark of the LORD come to me?”

2 Samuel 6:9

We must always do what the LORD says and be afraid not to! His ways are always going to be better than ours!

“The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; A good understanding have all those who do His commandments. His praise endures forever.”

Psalm 111:10

In everything we do we must do it the LORD’S way, not ours. That’s called a healthy fear of the LORD!

“Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.”

John 14:16

Today, let’s look to the LORD and follow the LORD! Have a blessed day walking in His ways!

“Now the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, saying to them.”

Leviticus 11:1

What is God saying to Moses and Aaron in this chapter? The same thing He’s saying to us, He wants us to know what is clean and unclean, what is good and bad and what is right and what is wrong!

“As for God, His way is perfect; The word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”

2 Samuel 22:31

God, wants us to be clean and He wants us to be holy, not ordinary, like the rest of the world! He wants us to be separated unto Him, so don’t fall into the worldliness trap!

“For I am the LORD who brings you up out of the land of Egypt, to be your God. You shall therefore be holy, for I am holy.”

Leviticus 11:45

Understand, the LORD saved you from the world and its trappings, so don’t get sucked back into them, but instead be holy unto the LORD! Have a blessed day listening and walking with the LORD!

Leviticus 10:8

This is just after Aaron’s sons offered strange fire to the LORD and the LORD sent fire and devoured them. Instead of getting bitter and angry, Aaron just listened!

“All the kings of the earth shall praise You, O LORD, when they hear the words of Your mouth.”

Psalm 138:4

When we listen to the words of the LORD and do them, we will find ourselves praising Him. When we don’t, we end up bringing strange fire to Him and getting burned!

“For I am the LORD, I do not change; Therefore you are not consumed, O sons of Jacob.”

Malachi 3:6

The LORD never changes and neither does His word. We need to be careful of twisting it to fit our desires, even if they seem good! Just remember what happened to Nadab and Abihu. They were burned up trying to add to what the LORD had already done! Follow what the LORD says and don’t get burned! Have a blessed day listening for what the LORD is saying.

“Then Moses said, This is the thing which the LORD commanded you to do, and the glory of the LORD will appear to you.”

Leviticus 9:6

When we do things the way the LORD tells us, we will always see His glory! We really need to walk in His ways, but so often we get in His way by doing our own thing!

“So He said to them, When you pray, say: Our Father in heaven, Hallowed be Your name. Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.”

Luke 11:12

“Saying, Father, if it is Your will, take this cup away from Me; nevertheless not My will, but Yours, be done.”

Luke 22:42

No matter how things look if we just follow the ways of the LORD, we will see His glory and be blessed!

“Yours, O LORD, is the greatness, The power and the glory, The victory and the majesty; For all that is in heaven and in earth is yours; Yours is the kingdom, O LORD, And You are exalted as head over all.”

2 Chronicles 29:11
