Watch and Pray

“But of that day and hour no one knows, not even the angels in heaven, nor the Son, but only the Father. Take heed, watch and pray; for you do not know when the time is.”

Mark 13:32-33

The word tells us that the LORD is coming and the reality is we all have an appointed time to meet Him face to face! With that said, Jesus tells us to watch and pray, not watch and react or take a look and ignore, but watch and pray.

“Therefore evil shall come upon you; You shall not know from where it arises. And trouble shall fall upon you; You will not be able to put it off. And desolation shall come upon you suddenly, Which you shall not know.”

Isaiah 47:11

Don’t be caught watching the world and being caught off guard, but instead, let us be watching for the LORD in every situation and praying!

“Therefore I will look to the LORD; I will wait for the God of my salvation; My God will hear me.”

Micah 7:7

Remember, we really don’t know when the LORD will return. We know the signs, so when we see them pray! Also, we all have situations happening to us, through us and around us! Watch for them, and pray! Today, let’s all be watching and praying to the LORD!

Buildings don’t save

“And Jesus answered and said to him, Do you see these great buildings? Not one stone shall be left upon another, that shall not be thrown down.”

Mark 13:2

We need to be careful of worshipping people, places and things! The LORD wants us to worship Him and point people to Him!

“Because zeal for Your house has eaten me up, And the reproaches of those who reproach You have fallen on me.”

Psalm 69:9

When we put our efforts into buildings and not people, we will fail! We need to be careful of what we put our efforts in! Buildings are nice, but they will crumble. People may stumble, but we can lead them to eternity with the LORD!

“Even them I will bring to My holy mountain, And make them joyful in My house of prayer. Their burnt offerings and their sacrifices Will be accepted on My altar; For My house shall be called a house of prayer for all nations.”

Isaiah 56:7

We all need to put more effort into sharing the love of the LORD and praying for the lost and we don’t need a building to pray in; we can pray anywhere. Today, have a blessed day sharing Jesus!

Shabbat Shalom.

Reflect His truth

“So you shall say to them, This is a nation that does not obey the voice of the LORD their God nor receive correction. Truth has perished and has been cut off from their mouth.”

Jeremiah 7:28

Sounds like our country today, which not only denies the LORD, but has no fear of Him!

“If My people who are called by My name will humble themselves, and pray and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin and heal their land.”

2 Chronicles 7:14

We all really need to do our part being a witness for the LORD! How? By walking in His ways and speaking His truth! Remember, we may be the only ones who are saved at work, in our classrooms or wherever we are at, so walk in His ways!

“Oh, that My people would listen to Me, That Israel would walk in My ways.”

Psalm 81:13

Today, get into the word of the LORD, take in what it says, do it and share it with everyone you come in contact with! Have a blessed day obeying the voice of the LORD!

Share the love of the LORD

“For if you remain completely silent at this time, relief and deliverance will arise for the Jews from another place, but you and your father’s house will perish. Yet who knows whether you have come to the kingdom for such a time as this?”

Esther 4:14

Esther was trying to hide in the king’s palace as Queen, thinking she would be safe, but Mordecai was telling her she wouldn’t be! Same for us. We can’t hide, thinking someone else will share, witness or do the work of the LORD! Like Esther, God places us right where we need to be FOR SUCH A TIME AS THIS! What time is it? To share about salvation!

“He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name’s sake.”

Psalm 23:3

The LORD leads us for His good purposes, Remember, we are right where we are supposed to be! Whether on the job, at school or just in our travels, we are placed in every situation to share the love of the LORD!

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.”

Matthew 6:33

Today, look for the LORD in every situation because that’s where He placed you. Where you are at is the place your supposed to be sharing the LORD! Today, is for SUCH A TIME AS THIS and this is the time and this is the place to share the love of the LORD! Have a blessed day sharing His salvation!
