Sin is serious!
“And if she is not able to bring a lamb, then she may bring two turtledoves or two young pigeons – one as a burnt offering and the other as a sin offering. So the priest shall make atonement for her, and she will be clean.”
Leviticus 12:8
Here we see even bringing life into the world, we still need to have our sin covered! The point is we are all sinners in desperate need of a Savior. No one is innocent!
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”
Romans 3:23
The only way out is the LORD! We all need the LORD to cleanse us and save us!
“Salvation belongs to the LORD. Your blessing is upon Your people. Selah (pause or meditate)
Psalm 3:8
Yes, we should meditate on the fact that we all know how rotten we can be, and how much we need salvation! Today, let’s realize and be thankful we are covered by the blood of the Lamb (Jesus) and we are not doomed to hell! But, let us also realize many people around us are not saved! So let’s step up our game, so to speak, and share the good news of salvation today. Sin is serious business! Have a blessed day being a witness for the LORD!
Pray!
“Then they came to a place which was named Gethsemane; and He said to His disciples, Sit here while I pray.”
Mark 14:32
Jesus, knows what’s coming next and He doesn’t have a staff meeting, He simply just says let’s pray. So often we want to take action, but what we need to do first in everything is just simply PRAY!
“Give heed to the voice of my cry, My King and my God, For to You I will pray.”
Psalm 5:2
After we pray then the next thing we get to do is watch, God answers in His perfect timing!
“Then He said to them, My soul is exceedingly sorrowful, even to death. Stay here and watch.”
Mark 14:34
Today, before we react let’s pray then instead of doing, let’s just watch and see what the LORD will do! Have a blessed day praying and watching. the LORD is doing great things!
Serve the LORD
“But Jesus said, Let her alone. Why do you trouble her? She has done a good work for Me.”
Mark 14:6
We all can be guilty of this same thing, judging or criticizing other people on what they do for the LORD, instead of looking at what we are doing!
“He who has pity on the poor lends to the LORD, And He will pay back what he has given.”
Proverbs 19:17
The LORD really wants us to do good works for Him, and encourage others to do the same, instead of tearing them down! We should be doing good works because we are saved!
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works and glorify your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16
Today, let’s spend our time on doing things for the LORD and encouraging people around us! Have a blessed day sharing the love of the LORD.
Shabbat Shalom.
Stay under the wings of the LORD
“And I have been with you wherever you have gone, and have cut off all your enemies from before you, and have made you a great name, like the name of the great men who are on the earth.”
2 Samuel 7:9
How true is this, that the LORD is with us everywhere we go! No matter what, no matter where, know that the LORD is with you!
“He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.”
Psalm 91:1
Knowing the LORD is with us at all times should lead us to desire to be under His wings, under His covering and in His presence!
“And the priest said to them, Go in peace. The presence of the LORD be with you on your way.”
Judges 18:6
Today, no matter what is going on in our lives, stay in the presence, coverings and shadow of the LORD. Life will always be better when we walk under His wings! Have a blessed day with the LORD!
