Love, don’t judge!

“You are not to show favoritism when judging, but give equal attention to the small and to the great. No matter how a person presents himself, don’t be afraid of him; because the decision is God’s. The case that is too hard for you, bring to Me and I will hear it.”

Deuteronomy 1:17 CJB

We all need to be careful when it comes to judging people! There is a difference between calling out someone for doing something obviously wrong or sinful and judging to condemn.

And if you’re not sure just give it to the LORD!

“Give Adonai His due, you families from the peoples, give Adonai His due of glory and strength.”

1 Chronicles 16:28 CJB

We all need to be able to call sin, sin, but don’t be accusers! If we are not sure, we need to call on the LORD so He can reveal it! Also, if we are not sure, don’t speak, just pray!

“Adonai is close to all who call on Him, to all who sincerely call on Him.”

Psalm 145:18 CJB

Today, let’s spend more time praying for people, not judging them! We all know there is plenty of sin to point out, so instead of pointing, let’s be praying! Have a blessed day praying to the LORD!

Follow Jesus

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.”

John 3:16 CJB

This, by far, is one of the most quoted New Testament verses. Even unbelievers know this verse! Realize God created the world and us and He loves us so much that He gave all, His son, so we won’t be destroyed! What we have to do is believe!

“And then, whoever calls on the name of Adonai will be saved.”

Acts 2:21 CJB

When we realize how much the LORD loves us, it should lead us to want to return that love. How? By simply just following Him and not letting Him go!

“You are to fear Adonai your God, serve Him, cling to Him and swear by His name.”

Deuteronomy 10:20 CJB

Today, have a blessed day clinging to the LORD and His love for you!

House of prayer

“And to the pigeon-sellers He said, Get these things out of here! How dare you turn My Father’s house into a market?”

John 2:16 CJB

The LORD is and always has been about gathering His people together to hear about His Good News of salvation, He really is about people, not gathering folks to get business connections or potential clients!

“I will bring them to My holy mountain and make them joyful in My house of prayer; their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on My altat; for My house will be called a house of prayer for all peoples.”

Isaiah 56:7 CJB

Again, the LORD is about people and their salvation and so should we be! Every day we are surrounded by lost and dying people. We need to share His Good News of salvation!

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai.”

Psalm 27:14 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in turning our walks and places of worship into markets and businesses, but instead let’s make the LORD’S house a house of prayer, worship and sharing the Good News! Have a blessed day being in the LORD’S house. Shabbat Shalom!

Do what the LORD says

“His mother said to the servants, Do whatever He tells you.”

John 2:5 CJB

That makes it really easy. Just do what the LORD says, instead of trying to do our own thing, which is always harder!

“You are to obey My rulings and laws and live accordingly; I am Adonai your God.”

Leviticus 18:4 CJB

We always seem to get into trouble when we do our own thing, whatever that may be! Then we end up calling out to the LORD, fix my mess, bless my mess or here is the best one if you get me out of this one I’ll never do ___ again! Does this sound familiar?

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands!”

John 14:15 CJB

Amazingly, we don’t have to do things on our own. The LORD is with us every step of the way, so just look to Him and follow Him! Have a blessed day doing what the LORD says!
