Pray for each other!

“If someone among you is needy, one of your brothers, in any of your towns in your land which Adonai your God is giving you, you are not to harden your heart or shut your hand from giving to your needy brother.”

Deuteronomy 15:7 CJB

When we see our brothers and sisters in need, we really need to help! We also need to be careful and prayerful in how we are to help, in my opinion! We need to be careful of just giving irresponsibly! Listen, pray and discern before you act!

“Always be joyful. Pray regularly. In everything gives thanks, for this is what God wants from you who are united with the Messiah Yeshua.”

1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 CJB

We all really need to spend time in prayer, calling on the LORD before we do things. Be careful and always be prayerful.

“Therefore, openly acknowledge your sins to one another, and pray for each other, so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.”

James 5:16 CJB

A good thing to remember is to pray before we do anything, don’t judge folks, but always be willing to at least pray! Have a blessed day lifting people up to the LORD!

Encourage someone

“But don’t neglect the Levi staying with you, because he has no share or inheritance like yours.”

Deuteronomy 14:27 CJB

We do have pastors, teachers and ministry leaders who work hard at teaching and sharing the word of God to encourage and edify! Let them know you care!

“Y’honatan (Jonathan) Shau’ul’s son set out and went to David at Horesh to encourage him in God.”

1 Samuel 23:16 CJB

As leaders need to be encouraged, we also need to encourage each other! Everyone needs encouragement from time to time, maybe even now!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”

1 Peter 2:9 CJB

Today, realize, we are all part of the LORD’S Royal Priesthood, His special people! Encourage someone today, because you never know what someone may be going through! Take time to call or text someone now, it might make a big difference in their day! May the LORD richly bless you!

Cling to the LORD

“Everything I am commanding you, you are to take care to do. Do not add to it or subtract from it.”

Deuteronomy 13:1 CJB

What a great reminder for us. We are not to add or subtract from what God says. Instead, just do as He tells us without question and as, always, it will go well for us!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot(commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”

Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB

Be careful of adding or subtracting from the word of God to justify your desires or wishes. Instead, just cling to the LORD and do what He says! There are so many people out there supposedly sharing the word of God, but it is very distorted be careful! That’s why we need to be responsible and study His word!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear.”

2 Timothy 4:3 CJB

I believe that day is here and now, so let’s be careful, let’s study and test what we take in! I pray that you have a blessed day clinging to the LORD and glorifying Him!

Serve the LORD

“Break down their altars, smash their standing-stones to pieces, burn up their sacred poles completely and cut down the carved images of their gods. Exterminate their name from that place.”

Deuteronomy 12:3 CJB

In other words, remove and get rid of everything that gets in the way of worshipping the LORD! It only drags you down and destroys your walk with the LORD! Fit in with the LORD, not the world.

“But you are not to treat Adonai your God this way.”

Deuteronomy 12:4 CJB

We really need to be careful of removing the LORD from our day or ignoring Him! The LORD really wants to be involved in every part of our lives!

“You are to fear Adonai your God, serve Him only and swear by His name. You are not to follow other gods, chosen from the gods of the peoples around you.”

Deuteronomy 6:13-14 CJB

The LORD really wants us to fear living without Him and not get tangled up with the gods of this world! Be careful of falling into the trap of hiding your beliefs in Jesus to fit in with the people around you! Have a blessed day serving the LORD!
