The LORD isn’t burdensome!

“But if you refuse to pay attention to what Adonai your God says, and do not observe and obey all his mitzot and regulations which I am giving you today, then all the following curses will be yours in abundance.”

Deuteronomy 28:15 CJB

We all want to hear about the good things and blessings from the LORD, but we don’t want to hear about rules and regulations! Honestly following after the LORD really isn’t burdensome, Jesus really made it easy!

“He told him, You are to love Adonai your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. This is the greatest and most important mitzvah(command). And the second is similar to it, You are to love your neighbor as yourself.”

Matthew 22:37-39 CJB Also in: Deuteronomy 6:5 and Leviticus 19:18

In other words, the LORD really made following Him easy: just love the LORD and love people around us, even though loving others can be a challenge at times! But we still can do it!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”

1 John 5:3 CJB

Today, realize, it’s always going to be better for us when we just walk in the ways of the LORD! Have a blessed day following the LORD!

Listen to the LORD

“Then Moshe and all the leaders of Israel gave orders to the people. They said, Observe all the mitzvot(commandments) I am giving you today.”

Deuteronomy 27:1 CJB

It is always going to go better for us when we just simply do what the LORD says! Don’t get caught up in looking for loopholes in scripture or seek preachers and teachers who only tell you what you want to hear!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear.”

2 Timothy 4:3 CJB

There really are enough problems going on in the world around us, we really don’t need to add to them by doing our own thing or following people because it pleases us! Just seek the LORD and His ways. It will always end up better for us!

“Therefore you are to listen to what Adonai your God says and obey His mitzvot and laws, which I am giving you today.”

Deuteronomy 27:10 CJB

Today, let’s spend time looking to and following after the LORD. WHY? Because it will always go better for us when we do life His way! May your day be blessed following hard after the LORD!

The LORD knows

“So we cried out to Adonai, the God of our ancestors, Adonai heard us and saw our misery, toil and oppression;

and Adonai brought us out of Egypt with a strong hand a stretched-out arm, with great terror, and with signs and wonders.”

Deuteronomy 26:7-8 CJB

Life can be full of all kinds of ups and downs. Remember, the LORD is always right there with us!

“Beloved, do not think it strange concerning the fiery trial which is to try you, as though some strange thing happened to you.”

1 Peter 4:12 CJB

The LORD really allows us to go through trials. Why? So He can be glorified through our lives! So don’t get hung up when you feel oppressed, depressed or stressed, just know the LORD has you!

“For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”

Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Realize, no matter how desperate things may look, the LORD has you, and know the LORD allows situations to happen for our protection, direction or correction! Have a blessed day knowing the LORD has you covered!

Love the LORD

“He who loves his life loses it, but he who hates his life in this world will keep it safe right on into eternal life!”

John 12:25 CJB

Are we more concerned about what people think about us or are we more concerned about what the LORD thinks? Are we more concerned about our looks, social standing and popularity? God gave us life so we can glorify Him!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”

Matthew 5:16 CJB

The more we live for the LORD, the more we gain; the less we live for the LORD, the more our life is drained! God breathed life into us so we can live for Him and glorify Him! Don’t allow life to center around our issues, but let our lives center around the LORD!

“If the world hates you, understand that it hated Me first.”

John 15:18 CJB

Remember, Jesus knows everything you’re going through!

“If you belonged to the world, the world would have loved its own. But because you do not belong to the world-on contrary, I have picked you out of the world-therefore the world hates you.”

John 15:19 CJB

Today, if you’re having struggles in the world, GOOD! The LORD did too, so take courage. He picked us out of the world and with Him we will make it through! Have a blessed day loving life in the LORD!

Just call on the LORD

“I was angry for a moment and hid My face from you; but with everlasting grace I will have compassion on you, says Adonai your Redeemer.”

Isaiah 54:8 CJB

I’m so glad that the LORD doesn’t stay angry or upset with us and He never goes back on His word, He gives us everlasting grace!

“But Adonai-it is He who will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you, so don’t be afraid or downhearted.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 CJB

Even though life has its ups and downs and sometimes we have more downs than ups, but always remember our LORD never leaves us, He always will redeem us. All we have to do is call!

But I know that my Redeemer lives, that in the end He will rise on the dust, so that after my skin has been destroyed, then even without my flesh, I will see God.”

Job 19:25-26 CJB

Today, no matter what, remember the LORD is forgiving, full of compassion and will never leave us! So be encouraged in the LORD and know no matter what, all you have to do is confess and He does the rest! Have a blessed day!

Shabbat Shalom!
