Cling to the LORD

“Only take great care to obey the mitzvah and the Torah which Moshe the servant of Adonai gave you-to love Adonai your God, follow all His ways, observe His mitzvoth, cling to Him, and serve Him with all your heart and being.”

Joshua 22:5 CJB

No matter where we are at in a good environment or a bad one, we will always do well following and keeping the ways of the LORD!

“I treasure your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”

Psalm 119:11 CJB

No matter what is going on, things are always going to be better when we are following after the LORD, keeping His ways!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot, listen to what He says, serve Him cling to Him.”

Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB

Two things that can help you is to fear going through the day without the LORD and cling to Him in everything! Remember, He has you and isn’t letting you go! Have a blessed day in Him!

The LORD never fails

“Not one good thing that Adonai had spoken of to the household of Israel failed to happen; it all took place.”

Joshua 21:43 CJB

In other words, everything the LORD says happens, He is never wrong on anything! All He says comes to pass!

“For the word of the LORD is true, and all His work is trustworthy.”

Psalm 33:4 CJB

Politicians, bosses and even spouses will let you down, but the LORD never will!

“But Adonai-it is He who will go ahead of you. He will be with you. He will neither fail you nor abandon you, so don’t be afraid or downhearted.”

Deuteronomy 31:8 CJB

So whether good or bad, what the LORD says always comes to pass! So for us, let’s do what He says, be in His word and do it! Have a blessed day being doers of His word!

Run to the LORD

“Tell the people of Israel, Select the cities of refuge about which I spoke to you through Moshe; so that anyone who kills someone by mistake and unknowingly may escape there; they will serve as refuges for you from the next-of-kin avenger.”

Joshua 20:2-3 CJB

This is so cool. Even when we do what would seem to be the worst thing, the LORD still gives us a place of refuge in Him! We all blow it from time to time, we say or do something stupid!

“It is better to take refuge in Adonai than trust in human beings.”

Psalm 118:8 CJB

We need to really seek the LORD in everything, especially when we blow it! Don’t try to hide from the LORD, because you can’t just run to Him!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”

1 Chronicles 16:11 CJB

Today, don’t seek refuge in the world, but in the LORD, no matter what you did!

Have a blessed day!

Step out and be a blessing

“No Adonai said to Avram, Get yourself out of your country, away from your kinsmen and away from your father’s house, and go to the land I will show you.”

Genesis 12:1 CJB

Like Abraham, God calls us to step out in faith, too! He calls us to get out of our comfort zone and step out to share the good news of salvation!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”

2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, don’t let your situation control you, but instead look to the LORD and trust in His word to guide you!

“Don’t deceive yourselves by only hearing what the Word says, but do it!”

James 1:22 CJB

Our LORD really wants us to be a blessing to those who are around us! The best thing we can do is share His love!

“I will make of you a great nation, I will bless you, and I will make your name great; and you are to be a blessing.”

Genesis 12:2 CJB

Let’s look for opportunities to share the love of the LORD and be a blessing to those around us!

Be thankful

“According to Adonai’s order they gave him the city he had asked for, Timnat-Serach in the hills of Efrayim; so he built up the city and lived in it.”

Joshua 19:50 CJB

As we serve the LORD, we may feel that we are entitled to everything we desire. Be careful of that mindset! Joshua is not given the best property here. Timnat-Serach is about eleven miles from Shiloh and sixteen miles southwest of Shechem, not a very impressive piece if real-estate! But Joshua doesn’t complain!

“And let shalom which comes from the Messiah be your heart’s decision-maker, for this is why you were called to be part of a single Body(in Jesus). And be thankful.”

Colossians 3:15 CJB

It is really easy to think and feel that the LORD needs to give us more! But we really need to be content in what we have and look for the hidden blessings that are there if we just look instead of complain.

“And having food and clothing, with these we shall be content.”

1 Timothy 6:8 CJB

We all have wants and desires, but are we searching out the things of the LORD? Have a blessed day seeking what the LORD has given us already!
