The LORD is with you

“I am just worn out. By my life [ I swear], I will never abandon my complaint; I will speak out in my soul’s bitterness.”
Job 10:1 CJB

We also can feel worn out and never getting away from the awful situations we are dealing with! Does it ever end?

“I will say to God, Don’t condemn me! Tell me why You are contending with me.”
Job 10:2 CJB

Again, when we are dealing with the stuff of life, we can feel like we are condemned. The good news is that in Jesus we are saved! When we deal with things in life, the LORD is with us, getting us through and using the situations to help us grow!

“Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for You are with me; Your rod and staff reassure me.”
Psalm 23:4 CJB

Today, no matter how dark it may look, the LORD is right by our side, getting us through life to be with Him!
May the LORD brighten your day!

You can’t win against God

“Then Iyov (Job) responded: Indeed, I know that this is so; but how can a human win a case against God?”
Job 9:1-2 CJB

No human or any other being can win against God, but yet men still try!

“Whoever might want to argue with Him could not answer Him one in a thousand.”
Job 9:3 CJB

Job is 100% right, no one can answer one question of God. He is all knowing and perfect! So why do we argue with God?

“His heart is so wise, His strength so great-who can resist Him and succeed?”
Job 9:4 CJB

Today, let’s stand on the side of the LORD, the only way we can have real success is by walking in His ways! Be careful of arguing or trying to get our own way, it never works out!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Do life God’s way

“Does God distort judgment? Does Shaddai (Almighty) pervert justice?
Job 8:3 CJB

The answer to both questions is no! The problem we have is we can be guilty of both. We sometimes can be pretty judgmental and we can pervert the word of God to fit our own wants!

“The Torah of Adonai is perfect, restoring the inner person. The instruction of Adonai is sure, making wise the thoughtless.”
Psalm 19:7 CJB

Everything the LORD says and does is right and true, we just need to be careful of how we use it! In everything we say and do, we can ask one question to see if we are in line with God! Does it glorify the LORD?

“Proclaim (Magnify) with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s stay away from being judgmental, but instead let’s be encouraging and uplifting, sharing the good news of the LORD!
Have a blessed day standing firmly on His word!

Life can be mundane

“Human life on earth is like serving in the army; yes, we drudge through our days like a hired worker, like a slave longing for shade, like a worker thinking only of his wages.”
Job 7:1-2 CJB

Sounds like we are having some of the same issues today! We are just trudging through life, just trying to get by, working and getting nowhere!

“Guide me in Your truth, and teach me; for You are the God who saves me, my hope is in You all day long.”
Psalm 25:5 CJB

We all can get caught up in the mundane things of life: jobs, bills and health. It can and does distract us from the things of the LORD, especially when we work and it seems there is more month than money!

“Following the way of Your judgments, we put our hope in You. The desire of all our soul is to remember You and Your name.”
Isaiah 26:8 CJB

Today, let’s not get sucked in to the things going on in the world, but instead let’s focus on the LORD and what He is doing! Let’s not get distracted!
Have a blessed day!

Obey the LORD

“Today Adonai your God orders you to obey these laws and rulings. Therefore, you are to observe and obey them with all your heart and all your being.”
Deuteronomy 26:16 CJB

We can’t say we are believers and do our own thing, we have to follow the LORD wholeheartedly!

“You are agreeing today that Adonai is your God and that you will follow His ways; observe His laws, mitzvot (commandments) and rulings; and do what He says.”
Deuteronomy 26:17 CJB

No matter what situation we enter in, our jobs, the grocery store or our homes, we must obey the LORD and do things His way! Get into His word and obey His commands.

“In turn Adonai is agreeing today that you are His own unique treasure, as He promised you; that you are to observe all His mitzvot (commandments).”
Deuteronomy 26:18 CJB

With all the problems going in the world around us, we will always be better off navigating life by following the LORD and His ways!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
