Hope in the LORD

“If only I could have my wish granted, and God would give me what I’m hoping for-that would decide to crush me, that He would let His hand loose and cut me off!”
Job 6:8-9 CJB

We all, from time to time, want to just give up or that the LORD would just take us away! What we have to remember is no matter our situation, God is using it to strengthen us and glorify Him! He is gonna get us through!

“Have I enough strength to go on waiting? What end can I expect, that I should be patient?”
Job 6:11 CJB

Even if things around us seem to be completely out of control with no hope or end in sight, remember, be patient and wait on the LORD. Rely upon His strength!

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai.”
Psalm 27:14 CJB

Today, put your hope in the LORD and rest in His strength! Don’t look to the world, which is filled with fear and anxiety, but look to the LORD, who is full of hope!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom

Seek the LORD

“If I were you, I would seek God; I would make my plea to Him.”
Job 5:8 CJB

This is actually good advice, seek God and pleaD your cause or case to Him. We all need to be careful of griping and complaining to others. We will always be better off in the hands of the LORD!

“For God does great deeds beyond investigation, wonders beyond all reckoning.”
Job 5:9 CJB

When we go to the LORD with our concerns and issues we will get results, but, when we go to the world all we really get is frustration. Realize though, when we go to the LORD we may not get the answer we want, we may even be corrected or disciplined!

“How happy the person whom God corrects! So don’t despise Shaddai’s (the Almighty) discipline.”
Job 5:17 CJB

Today, bring all things to the LORD and realize no matter what, He is doing what is best for us, even if it is we who get disciplined! Personally I’d rather be disciplined by the LORD than the world!
Have an amazing day in Him!

God will deal with it

“What I see is that those who plow sin and sow trouble reap just that.”
Job 4:8 CJB

In other words when we see evil people doing evil things, we need to understand the LORD will deal with it! We instead get to pray and shine the light of the LORD!

“Don’t delude yourselves: no one makes a fool of God! A person reaps what he sows.”
Galatians 6:7 CJB

What a relief we don’t have to judge people, God will take care of it! So we don’t need to get caught in the foolish sinfulness of the world! All we have to do is get caught up in LORD!

“At a breath from God, they perish; at a blast from His anger, they are consumed.”
Job 4:9 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in the worldliness, but instead get caught up in the LORD!
Have a blessed day!

We can have peace in the LORD

“I have no peace, no quiet, no rest; and anguish keeps coming.”
Job 3:25 CJB

Wow, we can feel like this is our life at this time! We turn on the news, look on social media and just go out in public and hear and see a lot of depressing things! We need to remember our hope is in the LORD!

“Put your hope in Adonai, be strong, and let your heart take courage! Yes, put your hope in Adonai!”
Psalm 27:14 CJB

Anytime we look at the things going on in the world around us we can get depressed. When we look to the LORD, we will always be encouraged!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, even as we see the darkness of the world with no peace, don’t let it get you down. Instead, let us be encouraged and strengthened by the LORD! Let’s get out there and reflect His light!
Have a blessed day!

We have good and bad

“But he answered her, You’re talking like a low-class woman! Are we to receive the good at God’s hands but reject the bad? In all this Iyov (Job) did not say one sinful word.”
Job 2:10 CJB

Do we receive the good things that happen in our lives and reject the bad as if God was unaware of what is going on! We need to be careful of acting like some low-class person by cursing and complaining!

“For I know what plans I have for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

Understand even when what we perceive as bad things happening to us, realize, God has a perfect plan!

“When you call to me and pray to me, I will listen to you. When you seek Me, you will find Me, provided you seek for Me wholeheartedly; and I will let you find Me, says Adonai.”
Jeremiah 29:12-14 CJB

Job and Jeremiah are two men who know disaster, stress and bad things! But, they also knew that the LORD was always there and in control, having a complete and perfect plan for us! No matter how things may look it’s all gonna work out for us in the LORD!
May your day be richly blessed!
