His Grace

I do not reject God’s gracious gift; for if the way in which one attains righteousness is through legalism, then the Messiah’s death was pointless.”
Galatians 2:21 CJB

God’s gracious gift or God’s grace, His chesed (Hebrew for loving-kindness). It is a free gift that you can’t work for or earn! But, that free gift should lead us to serve Him with everything we have, because of His great love!

“For Your grace (chesed, loving-kindness) is better than life. My lips will worship You.”
Psalm 63:3 CJB

The grace of the LORD is throughout scripture, God shows us His grace so we can return that love by loving Him back!

“If you love Me, you will keep My Commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

The LORD graciously saves us, not so we serve Him out of obligation, but that we’d serve Him out of love and devotion to Him!
Have a blessed day loving the LORD and His grace!

Pleasing to the LORD

“Now does that sound as if I were trying to win human approval? No! I want God’s approval! Or that I’m trying to cater to people? If I were still doing that, I would not be a servant of the Messiah.”
Galatians 1:10 CJB

Paul is making the point that we should be more concerned with pleasing the LORD and not trying to be liked or have the world’s approval!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

One of the biggest problems with believers today is we are afraid to offend people, because we want to be liked or fit in with the world! We all should be careful of doing that!

“May my musings be pleasing to Him; I will rejoice in Adonai.”
Psalm 104:34 CJB

The word musing here refers to either thoughts, speech, babbling and even prayers. We should try to please the LORD with everything we say and do! We all need to look for ways to be more pleasing to the LORD!
May your day be richly blessed with ways to please the LORD

Examine yourself

“Examine yourselves to see whether you are living the life of trust. Test yourselves. Don’t you realize that Yeshua the Messiah is in you?- unless you fail to pass the test. But I hope you will realize that we are not failures.”
2 Corinthians 13:5-6 CJB

Examining and testing ourselves are all good things to do! We should always be looking to see if our lives are in line with Yeshua!

“Let us examine and test our ways and return to Adonai.”
Lamentations 3:40 CJB

Often times in life, things don’t seem to go our way or we can ask and plead with the LORD, asking why? What we need to do is look and see if something needs to change in us so we can glorify the LORD!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, take some time to examine ourselves, once we do that we should see that the only thing really good in us is Yeshua! That should lead us to proclaim His amazing name!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Watch and see!

“God answered Bil`am (Balaam), You are not to go with them; you are not to curse the people, because they are blessed.”
Numbers 22:12 CJB

Two things here to see, first: God always answers and second, be careful of cursing God’s people, no matter what denomination they may belong to!

“Adonai has kept us in mind, and He will bless. He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aharon.
Psalm 115:12 CJB

So God will take care of us, His people. He really has us covered in every situation! Our problem is we worry way to much and constantly try to take matters into our own hands!

“My mouth will proclaim the praise of Adonai; all people will bless His holy name forever and ever.”
Psalm 145:21 CJB

Today, know that the LORD answers us and also takes care of us! So the best thing we can do is worship Him and watch what He is going to do!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

The LORD is great!

“Yes, I am well pleased with weakness, insults, hardships, persecutions and difficulties endured on behalf of the Messiah; for it is when I am weak that I am strong.”
2 Corinthians 12:10 CJB

The LORD really can and does use weak things to confound the wise and to glorify Himself!

“For God’s nonsense is wiser than humanity’s wisdom. And God’s weakness is stronger than humanity’s strength.”
1 Corinthians 1:25 CJB

The cool thing about the LORD is even the most insignificant thing that God does, is bigger than the best thing man can do!

“For You are great, and You do wonders; You alone are God.”
Psalm 86:10 CJB

Today, know that even the simplest and silliest thing we do for the LORD is bigger and better than anything the world puts forward!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!
