Trust the LORD

“Here is a statement you can trust, one that fully deserves to be accepted (indeed, it is for this that we toil and strive): we have our hope set on a living God who is delivered of all humanity, especially of those who trust.”
1 Timothy 4:10 CJB

The bottom line is the only thing that we can fully and completely trust is the LORD and His word!

“Your word is a lamp for my foot and a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

We are bombarded with hundreds of different bits of information on a daily basis, but the only thing we can truly trust is the LORD and His word!

“Until I come, pay attention to the public reading of the Scriptures.”
1 Timothy 4:13 CJB

Today, know that we can always trust and rely on the word of God and we must read it several times a day for our own well being!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Be careful

“Furthermore, he must be well regarded by outsiders, so that he won’t fall into disgrace and into the Adversary’s trap.”
1 Timothy 3:7 CJB

In other words, we need to always be on guard because our Adversary is always out to get us! That’s why we need to be careful in all that we say and do!

“Stay sober, stay alert! Your enemy, the Adversary, stalks about like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour.”
1 Peter 5:8 CJB

Realize the enemy isn’t attacking unbelievers, he is out to get believers!

“I will meditate on your precepts and keep my eyes on your ways.”
Psalm 119:15 CJB

Today, the way to keep the Adversary at bay is by being in His word!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

Pray

“First of all, then, I counsel that petitions, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all human beings, including kings and all in positions of prominence; so that we may lead quiet and peaceful lives, being godly and upright in everything.”
1 Timothy 2:1-2 CJB

We need to be praying for everything and everyone, no matter how we may feel about it! Often times, when we pray for people, especially those we disagree with or dislike, the LORD will and does give us His peace!

“This is what God, our Deliverer, regards as good; this is what meets His approval.”
1 Timothy 2:3 CJB

The LORD wants us to pray for folks, not complain about folks!

“He wants all humanity to be delivered and come to full knowledge of the truth.”
1 Timothy 2:4 CJB

Today, realize the LORD doesn’t only want us to pray, but also share the truth about His Salvation and Grace!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Follow the LORD

“Because you are listening to these rulings, keeping and obeying them, Adonai your God will keep with you the covenant and mercy that He swore to your ancestors.”
Deuteronomy 7:12 CJB

When we are listening and doing what the LORD says, the result will always be easier, filled with blessings. When we don’t disaster is sure to follow!

“He will love you, bless you and increase your numbers; He will also bless the fruit of your body and the fruit of your ground-your grain, wine, olive oil and the young of your cattle and sheep-in the land He swore to your ancestors that He would give you.”
Deuteronomy 7:13 CJB

The LORD loves us no matter what. Unfortunately, the blessings of life often don’t happen because of our sin and disobedience! The result of walking in the ways of the LORD always brings joy!

“You make me know the path of life; in your presence is unbounded joy, in your right hand eternal delight.”
Psalm 16:11 CJB

Today, let’s look to the LORD for everything and do life His way. As a result life will always be more joyful!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Focus on the LORD

“Have them stop devoting their attention to myths and never-ending genealogies; these divert people to speculating instead of doing God’s work, which requires trust.”
1 Timothy 1:4 CJB

We all need to be careful of wasting our time doing and listening to foolish things, that suck us into never-ending stupidity!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear. Yes, they will stop listening to the truth, but will turn aside to follow myths.”
2 Timothy 4:3-4 CJB

One of the problems we have today is people get so caught up in nonsense that they hear on the news, social media and from false teachers! The key is: to be grounded in His word and be caught up in the LORD!

“How blessed are those who reject the advice of the wicked, don’t stand on the way of sinners or sit where scoffers sit! Their delight is in Adonai’s Torah (instruction); on His Torah they meditate day and night.”
Psalm 1:1-2 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in the nonsense of the world and its endless paths of foolishness! Instead get caught up in the LORD!
Have a blessed day immersing yourself in the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!
