Don’t judge

“Miryam and Aharon began criticizing Moshe on account of the Ethiopian woman he had married, for he in fact married an Ethiopian woman.”
Numbers 12:1 CJB

We all need to be careful of criticizing people, especially when we may not know all the facts!

“Don’t judge, so that that you won’t be judged. For the way you judge others is how you will be judged-the measure with which you measure out will be used measure to you.”
Matthew 7:1-2 CJB

The idea of judging here is condemning, avenging or damning! We can judge rightly, but it’s not up to us to discipline or condemn! Instead we should comfort, encourage and kindly correct!

“Adonai, correct me, but in moderation, not in Your anger, or You’ll reduce me to nothing.”
Jeremiah 10:24 CJB

Today, let’s be careful about being judgmental, especially since we don’t want God to judge us into nonexistence, so let’s not do the same to others!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Seek the will of God

“Next, the mixed crowd that was with them grew greedy for an easier life; while the people of Israel, for their part, also renewed their weeping and said, If only we had meat to eat!”
Numbers 11:4 CJB

No matter what, even with believers, there will always be people in the crowd that are greedy and self centered! In fact we all can be self centered from time to time!

“In the desert they gave way to insatiable greed; in the wastelands they put God to the test.”
Psalm 106:14 CJB

Do we put God to the test? Are we greedy? Actually, only you can answer this question, but the solution to testing and greed is always going to be Yeshua!

“As for me, Adonai, let my prayer to You come at an acceptable time; In Your great grace, God, answer me with truth of Your salvation.”
Psalm 69:13 CJB

It’s always the acceptable time when we are calling on Adonai for His will to be done! Today is a good day to check and see if we are being greedy and selfish and pray for Adonai to remove this from us!
Have a blessed day accepting the will of the Father!

Look to Adonai

“But they neither listened nor paid attention, but lived according to their own plans, in the stubbornness of their hearts, thus going backward and not forward.”
Jeremiah 7:24 CJB

This sounds so much like what we see today! People just doing what they want whenever they want and definitely not following Adonai!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

This mentality hasn’t changed, it just gets worse as Yeshua said it would! What is the solution, simple, look to Adonai and believe! Our focus shouldn’t be on the world and its evil, but on Yeshua!

“Come close to God, and He will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double minded-minded people!”
James 4:8 CJB

Today, remember the answer to all the problems in the world and in our lives is Yeshua!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Invite people

“Moshe continued, Please don’t leave us, because you know that we have to camp in the desert, and you can serve as our eyes.”
Numbers 10:31 CJB

Two things here that Moses does: the first is, He invites people to come and join him, especially the unbelievers!

“Come and see what God has done, His awesome dealings with humankind.”
Psalm 66:5 CJB

The second is: when we invite people, make them feel needed and useful to serve in the kingdom of God!

“Come, let’s bow down and worship; let’s kneel before Adonai who made us.”
Psalm 95:6 CJB

Today, let’s be all about inviting people to the LORD!
Have a blessed day sharing the goodness of Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Covered

“Sometimes the cloud was a few days over the tabernacle; according to Adonai’s order, they remained in camp; and according to Adonai’s oder, they traveled.”
Numbers 9:20 CJB

What a great way to travel during the day when they traveled Adonai shaded them and during the night as they slept they were covered with warmth! The same goes for us when we do as Adonai instructs, we are covered in His comfort!

In my distress my comfort is this: that your promise gives me life.”
Psalm 119:50 CJB

Life can be very stressful and uncomfortable, but with Adonai there is comfort! Why? Because He comforts us with His covering day and night!

“Let Your grace comfort me, in keeping with Your promise to Your servant.”
Psalm 119:76 CJB

Today, know that Adonai has His cloud of comfort over us day and night!
Have a blessed day!
