Who’s in control?

“The ark of Adonai stayed in the house of Oved-Edom the Gitti for three months; and Adonai blessed Oved-Edom and his household.”
2 Samuel 6:11 CJB

Whenever we make Adonai the priority and the main thing in our household, we will always be blessed!

“Adonai is alive! Blessed is my Rock! Exalted be the God of my salvation.”
Psalm 18:47 CJB

We have such a good God who has saved us from ourselves, that we should always be praising Him in everything!

“Blessed be Adonai! Every day He bears our burden, the God of our salvation.”
Psalm 68:19 CJB

Today, make God the priority of your house and watch and see what He will do!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be separate from the world

“Separate yourselves from this assembly; I’m going to destroy them right now!”
Numbers 16:21 CJB

What great words for us to hear, separate ourselves from the things of the world! Why? Because they can ruin and destroy us! Adonai wants us to be set apart holy for Him!

“I exort you, therfore brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please Him; it is the logical Temple worship for you.”
Romans 12:1 CJB

God really does want us to keep ourselves separated for Him, the biggest reason why is He wants us for Himself and doesn’t want us contaminated with the filth of the world!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

In Isaiah’s day, these were the things that were a concern evil becoming good and good becoming evil! This was a concern about 2500 years ago and it’s a concern: even today! Why? Because there is nothing new under the sun. Evil is still evil and God is always good! We really need to set ourselves apart for Adonai!
Today, is a good day to separate ourselves for God!
May you have a blessed Shabbat!
Shabbat Shalom!

Draw close to God

“But an individual who does something wrong intentionally, whether a citizen or a foreigner, is blasheming Adonai. That person will be cut off from his people.”
Numbers 15:30 CJB

In other words, this is the person who willingly sins against Adonai without any regard! They know what they are doing is wrong and basically don’t care! We are to just stay away from them, cut them off from our lives!

“Why does the wicked despise God and say in his heart, It won’t be held against me?”
Psalm 10:13 CJB

This is a good question, but the world really has no fear of God and we should just stay away! Usually what happens when we mingle with wicked people, it just brings us down and upsets us! Draw close to God instead!

“Come close to God, and He will come close to you. Clean your hands, sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded people!”
James 4:8 CJB

Today, we all need to separate ourselves from worldly people and draw closer to God instead!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Forgiven

“Adonai is slow to anger, rich in grace, forgiving offenses and crimes; yet not exonerating the guilty, but causing the negative effects of the parents’ offenses to be experienced by their children and even the third and fourth generations.”
Numbers 14:18 CJB

We are truly a blessed people who have a forgiving gracious God! What we need to understand is even though Adonai forgives and forgets, remember our sins have repercussions that always affect those around us! We need to be a repenting people and try to avoid sin all together!

“But if you will not do this, then you have sinned against Adonai, and you must understand that your sin will find you out.”
Numbers 32:23 CJB

We always need to be careful of what we do, because if we think we are getting away with it, we are not! God knows all and sees all!

“He has removed our sins from us as far as the east is from the west.”
Psalm 103:12 CJB

Today, rejoice in His forgiveness, but be careful of getting into sin!
Have a blessed day in Adonai knowing you are forgiven!

Look for fruit

“What they told him was this: We entered the land where you sent us, and indeed it does flow with milk and honey-here is its fruit!”
Numbers 13:27 CJB

When God sends us out, there will always be fruit and God sends us out every day!

“My fruit is better than gold, fine gold, my produce better than the finest silver.”
Proverbs 8:19 CJB

Anything God puts out in front of us is always going to be better than anything we can imagine! So what we need to do is keep looking for the fruit God has placed before us!

“So go out to the street-corners and invite to the banquet as many as you find.”
Matthew 22:9 CJB

Today, look for people (the fruit) to share the Good News of Salvation with them!
Have a blessed day!
