Embrace your situation!

“However, those who were scattered announced the Good News of the Word wherever they went.”
Acts 8:4 CJB

One of the biggest things we see here is that the emissaries of Yeshua were told to go out into the world and preach the Good News of Salvation! Unfortunately they stayed in Jerusalem, so God allowed persecution to happen! Persecution and disaster can push us to step out in faith, this is what happened here!

“You meant to do me harm, but God meant it for good-so that it would come about as it is today, with many people’s lives being saved.”
Genesis 50:20 CJB

As believers we want smooth sailing, no taxes, cheap gas, no wars and security! Not that these aren’t good things, but does easy life mean complacent walks with Adonai?

“Furthermore, we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who love God and are called accordance with His purpose.”
Romans 8:28 CJB

Understand, Joseph was a slave in Egypt which was bad in his eyes but part of God’s perfect plan! The persecution in Jerusalem was bad, but it forced the emissaries of Yeshua to step and spread the Good News! Every Earthly persecution and disaster forces us to step out in faith! Maybe this is what believers need today! So embrace the hard times you may be going through as possibly a preordained plan from Adonai to help expand His Kingdom!
May your day be richly blessed!

Don’t be stiffnecked

“Stiffnecked people, with uncircumcised hearts and ears! You continually oppose the Reach HaKodesh (Holy Spirit)! You do the same things your fathers did!”
Acts 7:51 CJB

Stiffnecked is used several times in Exodus and Deuteronomy, with the meaning of why do you defy God at every turn? God has given us directions to follow His ways, not making up our own. That’s being stiff-necked!

“For loving God means obeying His commands. Moreover, His commands are not burdensome.”
1 John 5:3 CJB

Often times we can make following God hard, but honestly it’s not!

“Human being, you have already been told what is good, what Adonai demands of you-no more than to act justly, love grace and walk in purity with your God.”
Micah 6:8 CJB

Let’s not make walking with God and His ways difficult, when we try to do things our own way it always turns to disaster! But when we walk in His ways life will always be easier!
Have a blessed day doing things God’s way!

Be full of God’s grace!

“Now Stephen, full of grace and power, performed great miracles and signs among the people.”
Acts 6:8 CJB

How can we be filled with such grace and power? By spending time with Yeshua and studying then applying His Word to our lives!

“Your Word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

The more time we are in the Word of God the more we will reflect His grace and power!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in Heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Understand, when we spend time with God and do what He instructs us to do, then amazing things happen that only God can get the glory for!
Have a blessed day spending time with God and reflecting His glorious light!
Shabbat Shalom!

God has a perfect plan!

“Kefa (Peter) and the other emissaries answered, We must obey God, not men.”
Acts 5:29 CJB

Who do you obey? Peter blew it with Yeshua in the garden, but now realizes that nothing can touch Him when he obeys God and not man! We need to do the same!

“You are to follow Adonai your God, fear Him, obey His mitzvot (commands), listen to what He says, serve Him and cling to Him.”
Deuteronomy 13:5 CJB verse 4 in other translations.

The best thing we can do in life is cling to Adonai, knowing He has a firm grip on us! Totally not worrying about what man has to say or do!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’says Adonai,’plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

God, has a complete and perfect plan for us that is filled with hope!
So let’s cling to Him and not worry about what man can or can’t do to us!
Have a blessed day obeying God!
Shabbat Shalom!
