Soak in the Word of God

“You son of Satan, full of fraud and evil! You enemy of everything good! Won’t you ever stop making crooked the straight paths of the LORD?”
Acts 13:10 CJB

There will always be people full of and inspired by Satan doing all kinds of evil, fraud and putting up road blocks! What do we do? Pray and be in the Word of God in order to be able to identify evil!

“I treasure Your Word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

Memorizing and hiding Scripture in our hearts is always a good way to defend from evil! God’s word is the best disinfectant we can have against evil!

“Your Word is a lamp for my foot and a light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

Today, be in the word of God as often as possible! His Word is a gift that we have and a perfect tool in our hands!
May your day be richly blessed soaking in the Word of God!
Shabbat Shalom!

Wait

“So Kefa was being held under watch in prison, but intense prayer was being made to God on his behalf by the Messianic community.”
Acts 12:5 CJB

Yes, we need to pray, pray often and pray hard! But we also need to be still and wait for answers! The Messianic community was praying hard for Peter, but didn’t listen for an answer! As we will see!

“She recognized Kefa’s voice and was so happy that she ran back in without opening the door, and announced that Kefa was standing outside. You’re out of your mind! they said to her. But she insisted it was true. So they said, It is his angel.”
Acts 12:14-15 CJB

Like the guys and gals here they were praying fervently for Peter’s release, but didn’t wait for an answer or they didn’t really believe God would answer! We need to pray, wait and believe!

“My soul, wait in silence for God alone, because my hope comes from Him.”
Psalm 62:5 CJB

Do we get ahead of God? Honestly the longer we wait on Adonai, the more we will see His answers!
May your day be blessed praying and waiting on Adonai!
Shabbat Shalom!

Listen to God

“But the voice spoke again from Heaven: Stop treating as unclean what God has made clean.”
Acts 11:9 CJB

What voice are we listening to? The voice of God or the voice of man?

“Sh’ma, Israel! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Israel! Adonai our God, Adonai is one]; and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 CJB

What great advice and a verse Kefa (Peter) and all the Jewish people know well! We are to love God in everything and anything we do and listening to everything He says!
God created us to praise and serve Him!

“Let everything that has breath praise Adonai! Hallelujah!”
Psalm 150:6 CJB

Today, let’s listen to Adonai, do what He says and then serve Him!
Have a blessed day!

God has you on His mind!

“Cornelius stared at the angel, terrified. What is it, sir? he asked. Your prayers, replied the angel, and your acts of charity have gone up into God’s presence, so that He has you on His mind.”
Acts 10:4 CJB

We are all on the mind of God, but when we are in prayer and doing charitable things for Him He notices and is glad! It’s not that we can work our way into Heaven, that’s free, but God sees good things and notices!

“God, how I prize your thoughts! How many of them there are!”
Psalm 139:17 CJB

How amazing that God would even think about us, even more He knows every detail about us and still loves us! How do we know that?

“For God so loved the world that He gave His only and unique Son, so that everyone who trusts in Him may have eternal life, instead of being utterly destroyed.”
John 3:16 CJB

When we realize how much God loves us, it should give us a desire to pray, praise and do kind things!
Have a blessed day sharing His Good News!

Proclaim good news!

“Kefa said to him, Aeneas! Yeshua the Messiah is healing you! Get up, and make your bed!”
Acts 9:34 CJB

Love how Peter is so bold and how he also takes no credit but gives all glory to Yeshua the Messiah! What a great example!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

We need to join with Peter and proclaim the greatness of Adonai, sharing about His glorious Kingdom!

“Taste, and see that Adonai is good. How blessed are those who take refuge in Him!”
Psalm 34:8 CJB

When we glorify, magnify and proclaim the greatness of Adonai, it will always give us a good taste, especially when we take refuge in Him!
May your day be blessed as you glorify Him!
