Lean on the LORD not the world.

“And it shall be in that day, says the LORD, That I will cut off your horses from your midst And destroy your chariots.”

Micah 5:10

The LORD wants us to lean and trust in Him for everything! The things of the world that we lean on and hope in will always come to ruin, our only real hope is in the LORD. Yes the world around us is getting weird, so let us put our hope in the LORD!

“Some trust in chariots, and some in horses; But we will remember the name of the LORD our God.”

Psalm 20:7

So no matter what is going on around you your hope and trust is in the LORD.

“As for God, His way is perfect; the word of the LORD is proven; He is a shield to all who trust in Him.”

2 Samuel 22:31

So today put all your hope in the LORD not the world He will always get you through. Have a blessed day in Him.

Remove the sin

“Now Phinehas The Son of Eleazer, the son of Aaron the priest, saw it, he rose from among the congregation and took a javelin in his hand; and went after the man of Israel into the tent and thrust both of them through, the man of Israel, and the woman through her body. So the plague was stopped among the children of Israel.”

Numbers 25:7-8

Like Phinehas what are we willing to do to get rid of the sin in our lives? Are we going to kill it or are we going to allow it to keep living?

“Wash me thoroughly from my iniquity, And cleanse me from my sin.”

Psalm 51:2

We all need to from time to time ask the LORD to reveal and cleanse us from sins we maybe meddling with! To cleanse us from all unrighteousness!

“Create In me a clean heart, O God, And renew a steadfast spirit within me.”

Psalm 51:10

Today let us ask the LORD to reveal and remove the things that are dragging us down! Have a blessed day being renewed and cleansed by the LORD!

Walk in His ways!

“If Balak were to give me his house full of silver and gold, I could not go beyond the word of the LORD, to do good or bad of my own will. That what the LORD says I must speak.”

Numbers 24:13

The same goes for us, no matter what we think the world can give us, at the end of the day all we can do is what the LORD wills.

“Therefore you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in His ways and fear Him.”

Deuteronomy 8:6

Life is always going to be better when we walk in the ways of the LORD and not in the ways of the world!

“For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Isaiah 55:9

Today let us see that the ways of the LORD are always higher than our ways! Realize we can really do nothing unless it’s what the LORD allows. So let us just do and say what He says! Have a blessed day.

Listen to the LORD

“And Balaam said to the donkey, Because you have abused me. I wish there were a sword in my hand, for now I would kill you.”

Numbers 22:9

This is crazy, Balaam wants to kill the donkey that’s talking to him! Instead of listening to the LORD he’s arguing with a donkey!

“Hear the word which the LORD speaks to you, O house of Israel.”

Jeremiah 10:1

Unfortunately we can be like Balaam wanting the things of the world, more than obeying the voice of the LORD.

“LORD, all my desire is before You; And my sighing is not hidden from You.”

Psalm 38:9

Our LORD knows all that we desire, all of our needs and even what we think. With this said we really need to seek Him first in every situation, listening for His voice and then doing His will!

“The voice of the LORD is powerful; The voice of the LORD is full of majesty.”

Psalm 29:4

Get into the word of God, and let us listen to His voice! Have a blessed day!

Life in the LORD

“For He is not the God of the dead but of the living, for all live to Him.”

Luke 20:38

The world around us is filled with all kinds of dead things! But in the LORD there is life.

“The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.”

John 10:10

The world wants to just steal and rip you off, the LORD wants to fill you with His joy. Things of the world may look attractive for a season but will always leave you empty.

“The humble also shall increase their joy in the LORD, And the poor among men shall rejoice In the Holy One of Israel.”

Isaiah 29:19

So today let us seek the LORD who is full of life, not the world which is full of death! Have a blessed day!
