Don’t ride the fence

“No servant can be slave to two masters, for he will either hate the first and love the second, or scorn the second and be loyal to the first. You can’t be a slave to both God and money.”
Luke 16:13 CJB

How true is this. We can’t serve two masters, we can’t serve the LORD and the world! We must choose!

“Eliyahu stepped forward before all the people and said, How long are you going to jump back and forth between two positions? If Adonai is God, follow Him; but if it’s Ba`al, follow him! The people answered not a word.”
1 Kings 18:21 CJB

We all have to make choices and decisions everyday, some important and some routine! But we have to make them no matter what! We will never be let down when we choose to follow the LORD!

“If it seems bad to you to serve Adonai, then choose today whom you are going to serve! Will it be the gods your ancestors served beyond the River? or the gods of the Emori, in whose land you are living? As for me and my household, we will serve Adonai!”
Joshua 24:15 CJB

Today, with all we see going on in the world, we will all be better off serving the LORD! Be careful of trying to ride the fence of indecision! Choose the LORD in everything!
Have a blessed day seeking the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!

Yeshua saves

“I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who turns to God from his sins than over ninety-nine righteous people who have no need to repent.”
Luke 15:7 CJB

Yeshua didn’t come to save the already saved, but those who are lost! We who are saved need to be out fishing for the lost to introduce them to the LORD who can save them!

“In the same way, I tell you, there is joy among God’s angels when one sinner repents.”
Luke 15:10 CJB

As the heavens rejoice over people getting saved, so should we!

“If we acknowledge our sins, then, since He is trustworthy and just, He will forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.”
1 John 1:9 CJB

Today, let’s look for lost people and introduce them to Yeshua, who is the God who saves! Also if we have sins that need forgiving, just simply acknowledge them and repent!
Have a blessed day rejoicing in Yeshua who saves!

Be Humble

“Because everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but everyone who humbles himself will be exalted.”
Luke 14:11 CJB

We all need to be real careful of thinking we are better or we know more than anyone else! We need to be humble!

“Before being ruined, a person’s heart is proud; before being honored, a person must be humbled.”
Proverbs 18:12 CJB

Everyone can be full of themselves from time to time and we all can be guilty of being a little prideful! It really is hard to exalt ourselves when we are praising the LORD!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s spend more time exalting and following the LORD and less time looking at ourselves!
May your day be richly blessed!

Repent

“No, I tell you. Rather, unless you turn from your sins, you will die similarly.”
Luke 13:5 CJB

Understand it’s not turn from someone else’s sin it’s yours and my sin that needs to be dealt with first! It’s always easier to point out someone else’s sin than our own!

“Someone asked Him, Are only a few people being saved?”
Luke 13:23 CJB

We need to be careful of making ministry about buildings, ministry projects or even ministries themselves that often times just distract from the main issue! Sin! We need to repent and share others how to repent! The sad thing is many people will miss being saved, because they never repent!

“Therefore, repent and turn to God, so that your sins may be erased.”
Acts 3:19 CJB

Jesus tells us throughout the Gospels to repent, because the Kingdom of God is at hand! As we look around today, we can see that the world needs to repent and so do we!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Fear being without God

“My friends, I tell you: don’t fear those who kill the body but then have nothing more they can do.”
Luke 12:4 CJB

Don’t get all caught in what the world can do to you, be more concerned on what the LORD can and will do!

“I will show you whom to fear: fear Him who after killing you has authority to throw you into Gei-Hinnom (Hell)! Yes, I tell you, this is the one to fear!”
Luke 12:5 CJB

Our problem is we allow disease, government and daily life to control us. Remember it is the LORD who is in complete control and that is who we need to fear!

“Why, every hair on your head has been counted! Don’t be afraid, you are worth more than many sparrows.”
Luke 12:7 CJB

Today, don’t get caught up in the world, but instead get caught up in the LORD! When we fear God, we will never fear man!
May you have a blessed day!
