Do you belong to the LORD?

“Then, He said to them, give the Emperor what belongs to the Emperor. And give God what belongs to God!”

What we need to see here is that we belong to God, because He paid for us! We don’t belong to the world and its paganism!

“You were bought at a price. so do not become slaves of other human beings.”
1 Corinthians 7:23 CJB

Yeshua gave His life for us the, ultimate sacrifice, and what we need to do is use this life for His glory!

“I exhort you, therefore, brothers, in view of God’s mercies, to offer yourselves as a sacrifice, living and set apart for God. This will please Him; it is the logical Temple worship for you.”
Romans 12:1 CJB

Today, let’s be less concerned about the world and its trappings. Instead let’s be more concerned living with and sharing the greatness of the LORD!

The LORD has need

Our LORD can and does ask us to do things that sound crazy or are way out of our comfort zone! The answer is the LORD needs it!

“As they were untying the colt, its owners said to them, Why are you untying the colt? And they said, Because the LORD needs it.”
Luke 19:33-34 CJB

Believe it or not the LORD has need of you and me too, it’s not because of personality or our great skills! It’s simply because He loves us and wants us to be part of what He is doing!

“This is the day Adonai has made, a day for us to rejoice and be glad.”
Psalm 118:24 CJB

Today, let’s look for opportunities to be used by the LORD, be on the lookout for people who need to be untied by the LORD!

His mercy

Blind Bart, could have said LORD why have you done this to me? Instead he said Lord have mercy on me! We all can be in rough or difficult situations, the answer is always going to be LORD have mercy on me!

“For I know the plans I have in mind for you, says Adonai, plans for well-being, not bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”

Realize, no matter how things look maybe you have no job, health issue or financial issue that the LORD can’t deal with! Often times He allows that situation to happen so we can see Him work!

“Give thanks to Adonai; for He is good, for His grace continues forever.”
1 Chronicles 16:34 CJB

Today, things can look bad, but in the LORD’S economy everything is going to be alright!

Look to the LORD

“Whoever aims at preserving his own life will lose it, but whoever loses his life will stay alive.”

People will do all kinds of things to preserve their lives: diets, gym memberships, plastic surgery and get rich quick schemes! The biggest and best thing we can do is cling to the LORD and rely upon His salvation!

“We confess our rebellion, Adonai, also the crimes of our ancestors; we have sinned against You.”
Jeremiah 14:20 CJB

We all have sinned against the LORD and the best thing we can do to preserve our lives is to confess to the LORD and watch Him forgive!

“Adonai is alive! Blessed is my Rock! Exalted be the God of my salvation.”
Psalm 18:47 CJB

Today, let’s be working more on our walks with the LORD and sharing His salvation with the lost!

Everything belongs to the LORD

“Speak to all the craftsmen to whom I have given the spirit of wisdom, and have them make Aharon’s garments to set him apart for Me, so that he can serve Me in the office of Cohen”

We are all set apart to serve the LORD, we all are given different gifts so that we can be used by Him and for Him!

“Serve Adonai with gladness. Enter His presence with joyful songs.”
Psalm 100:2 CJB

The LORD has given us all gifts to serve Him, what we need to do is use whatever gift He’s given us, whether it’s our careers, our hobbies or just our relationships! He has given them to us so we can use them for Him!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter 2:9 CJB

Today, no matter who we are or what we do, remember in all things God has gifted us to serve Him!
