Keep knocking

“Moreover, I myself say to you: keep asking, and it will be given to you; keep seeking, and you will find; keep knocking, and the door will be opened to you.”
Luke 11:9 CJB

The key thing here is to keep calling on the LORD, not to get our way, but I believe to see His way! Funny thing happens when we call on the LORD on a matter or a need, we start to see things more His way, the more we call upon Him!

“Then you will delight yourself in Adonai, and He will give you your heart’s desire. Commit your way to Adonai; trust Him, and He will act.”
Psalm 37:4-5 CJB

The idea here isn’t that the LORD is going to grant our every wish, but when we commit our way to Him, He starts to put His desires into our heart and then they become ours!

“He fulfills the desire of those who fear Him; He hears their cry and saves them.”
Psalm 145:19 CJB

Today, let’s dedicate our lives to the LORD and watch how He changes our hearts and desires for Him!
May your day be richly blessed!

Dwell with the LORD

“They are to make me a sanctuary, so that I may live among them.”
Exodus 25:8 CJB

The LORD really wants to be part of our lives, He desires to be in every aspect of our lives!

“Throne of Glory, exalted from the beginning! Our Holy Sanctuary.”
Jeremiah 17:12 CJB

As much as the LORD wants to be among us, we need to desire being with Him in everything! Honestly, nothing else really matters, our lives really need to revolve around the LORD!

“In My Father’s house are many places to live. If there weren’t, I would have told you; because I am going there to prepare a place for you. Since I am going and preparing a place for you, I will return to take you with Me; so that where I am, you will be also.”
John 14:2-3 CJB

With all the messes going on in the world today, we will always be better off living for the LORD! Because one day we will be dwelling with Him in His sanctuary in Heaven!
Have a blessed day living for the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!

The LORD always wins

“Whenever you enter a house, first say, Shalom! to the household. If a seeker of shalom (Peace) is there, your Shalom! will find its rest with him; and if there isn’t, it will return to you.”
Luke 10:5-6 CJB

We need to be looking for Shalom (peace) wherever we go and if we don’t find it, don’t argue, just move on! Unfortunately we end up in debate and arguments, trying to get the last word in or just be right! We really just need to walk away!

“But whenever you enter a town and they don’t make you welcome, go out into its streets and say, Even the dust of your town that sticks to our feet we wipe off as a sign against you! But understand this: the Kingdom of God is near!”
Luke 10:10-11 CJB

We all need to understand it’s not about being successful, but instead we need to be faithful to the LORD! When we just peacefully walk away it’s the LORD that wins and we belong to Him!

“In the same way, let your light shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

Today, let’s be careful of arguments and debates. Instead just share the Good News of Salvation!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Live for the LORD

“For whoever tries to save his own life will destroy it, but whoever destroys his life on My account will save it.”
Luke 9:24 CJB

In other words, don’t be living for yourself, trying to have things your own way! Also don’t be so consumed in self that you ignore the LORD! Remember, it really isn’t all about you!

“What will it benefit a person if he gains the whole world but destroys or forfeits his own life?”
Luke 9:25 CJB

If we are living for self, gaining worldly possessions and esteem, we jeopardize what we can have in the LORD!

“For if someone is ashamed of Me and of what I say, the SON of Man will be ashamed of him when he comes in his glory and that of the Father and of the holy angels.”
Luke 9:26 CJB

We really need to be living for the LORD in every aspect of our lives, shining for the LORD!
Have a blessed day shining for the LORD!

Focus on the LORD

“As for what fell in the midst of thorns these are the ones who hear; but as they go along, worries and wealth and life’s gratifications crowd in and choke them, so that their fruit never matures.”
Luke 8:14 CJB

This part of the parable simply just means people hear the word, but life overwhelms them and chokes out the LORD! We all can let life get in the way!

“Yeshua said to him, What do you mean, if you can? Everything is possible to someone who has trust! Instantly the father of the child exclaimed, I do trust-help my lack of trust!”
Mark 9:23-24 CJB

Often times we can get caught up in the events of the world and we start to get discouraged! What we need to do is put all our hope and trust in the LORD!

“For we live by trust, not by what we see.”
2 Corinthians 5:7 CJB

Today, no matter how rough things may look, don’t let the cares and issues of the world choke us out from the LORD!

“But what fell in rich soil-these are the ones who, when they hear the message, hold onto it with good, receptive heart; and by persevering, they bring forth a harvest.”
Luke 8:15 CJB

Even though the world may be putting pressure upon us, understand we need to hold on and trust the LORD! He has made our hearts rich soil so that we can help to bring forth His harvest!
Have a blessed day in Him!
