Seek the giver of life!

“Terror-stricken, they bowed down with their faces to the ground. The two men said to them, Why are you looking for the living among the dead?”
Luke 24:5 CJB

Often times we look for life among dead things, such as political solutions, financial solutions or health solutions! The only thing that can bring us real life is our Living Savior Yeshua!

“Let all the earth fear Adonai! Let all living in the world stand in awe of Him.”
Psalm 33:14 CJB

If we want life, we need to look to the LORD, not the world!

“Adonai is my light and salvation; whom do I need to fear? Adonai is the stronghold of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?”
Psalm 27:1 CJB

Today, don’t seek life in dead things, but seek the LORD instead!
Have a blessed day seeking the giver of life, Yeshua!

Be in tune with the LORD

“But with one voice they shouted, Away with this man! Give us Bar-Abba!”
Luke 23:18 CJB

People can speak with one voice and be in perfect agreement, but that doesn’t make it right with the LORD!

“At that time there was no king in Israel; a man simply did whatever he thought was right.”
Judges 21:25 CJB

When we don’t have the LORD leading and guiding us, we have disorder and chaos, even though the majority may agree with it!

“Look, you have grown old, and your sons are not following your ways. Now make us a king to judge us like all the nations.”
1 Samuel 8:5 CJB

When we have no godly leadership, people start to do what’s right in their own sight! Then they want a leader that will justify their ungodly ways! We actually see that around us today!

“Pilate decided to grant their demand; he released the man who had been thrown in prison for insurrection and murder, the one they had asked for; and Yeshua he surrendered to their will.”
Luke 23:24-25 CJB

Today, we all need to be careful of being in agreement with the world around us! Everything we do needs to be in agreement with the LORD!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Rest in the LORD

“Tell the people of Israel, You are to observe My Shabbats; for this is a sign between me and you through all your generations; so that you will know that I am Adonai, who sets you apart for Me.”
Exodus 31:13 CJB

We need to understand that Shabbat isn’t made to go to Church or Synagogue, that’s something we get to do. It’s made for us to rest in the LORD take a break from the ordinary days of the week, it’s for our own personal walk with the LORD!

“My safety and honor rest on God. My strong Rock and refuge are in God.”
Psalm 62:7 CJB

The LORD really wants us to rest in Him, take a day to just recharge and spend time with Him!

“Come to Me, all of you who are struggling and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 CJB

Today, with all the craziness of life, we all simply need to take a break! Shut off everything TVs, radios and internet and just spend some time with the LORD, resting in Him!
Have a blessed day in Him!
Shabbat Shalom!

Pray

“When He arrived, He said to them, Pray that you won’t be put to the test.”
Luke 22:40 CJB

Often times we fall into problems because we don’t pray! We really need to be praying everywhere and about everything!

“Pray regularly.”
1 Thessalonians 5:17 CJB

What does praying regularly mean? Praying when we get up, when we go out the door and everywhere we go! In other words, we need to constantly have the LORD upon our lips!

“I will bless Adonai at all times; His praise will always be in my mouth.”
Psalm 34:1 CJB

Our days will always be better when we continually have the praises of the LORD upon our lips! We all need to be spending more time praying about everything, everyone and everywhere!
Have a blessed day in the LORD!
Shabbat Shalom!

Hope in the LORD

“But keep watch on yourselves, or your hearts will become dulled by carousing, drunkenness and worries of everyday living, and that Day will be sprung upon you suddenly like a trap!”
Luke 21:34 CJB

We all need to be careful about the days we are living in! Things are really upside down and backwards, but don’t let your hearts be troubled, Yeshua has overcome the world!

“Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who change darkness into light and light into darkness, who change bitter into sweet and sweet into bitter!”
Isaiah 5:20 CJB

God has warned us that these days are coming, which seem to be all around us, that evil will be considered good! But be of good cheer and filled with the hope of the LORD!

“Stay alert, always praying that you will have the strength to escape all the things that will happen and to stand in the presence of the Son of Man.”
Luke 21:36 CJB

Today, let’s not get caught up in the world, but instead be caught up in the LORD!
Have a blessed day in Him!
