Let your light shine

“You are to order the people of Israel to bring you pure oil of pounded olives for the light, and to keep a lamp burning continually.”
Exodus 27:20 CJB

Life can be dark from time to time, but as believers, we need to keep our lights shining! We need to be careful of being dim bulbs!

“In the same way, let your lights shine before people, so that they may see the good things you do and praise your Father in heaven.”
Matthew 5:16 CJB

There are all kinds of dark things happening around us that can affect our light! What we need to do is spend more time with Adonai, filling our lamps so we can shine for Him!

“Your words are a doorway that lets in light, giving understanding to the thoughtless.”
Psalm 119:130 CJB

Today, we need to keep our lamps burning by pouring the oil of the word of God into our lamps. Then we need to shine as bright as possible in the world around us!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Turn off the noise.

“Adonai said Moshe.”
Leviticus 6:17 CJB

When Adonai speaks, it’s because He has something for us to hear that will benefit our lives greatly!

“God speaks once, even twice, and still the hearer misses the point.”
Job 23:14 CJB

God is always speaking. The problem is, are we listening? The world around us is full of so much noise, such as: activists, preachers and politicians! We need to tune into the word of God and turn off the noise!

“After the earthquake, fire broke out; but Adonai was not in the fire. And after the fire came a quiet, subdued voice.”
1 Kings 19:12 CJB

Understand, there: is a lot of noise out there social media, our peers and even family members, all talking and even telling us what to do! What we need to be doing is listening for the subdued voice of Adonai, who is speaking to us always!
We pray for everyone to take the time to hear from God!
On this Shabbat, set some real quiet time to spend with Adonai listening!
Shabbat Shalom!

Be upright

“If someone sins and acts perversely against Adonai by dealing falsely with his neighbor in regard to a deposit or security entrusted to him, by stealing from him, by extorting him,
or by dealing falsely in regard to a lost object he has found, or by swearing to a lie-if a person commits any of these sins,”
Leviticus 5:21-22 CJB

We need to be honest and upright, because when we aren’t, we are really sinning against Adonai.
Little white lies like they have more money, they won’t miss it or they owe it to me, all of this is still sinning!

“Then, if he sinned and is guilty, he is to restore whatever it was he stole or obatained by extortion, or whatever was deposited with him, or the lost object which he found, or anything about which he has sworn falsely. He is to restore it in full plus an additional one-fifth; he must return it to the person who owns it, on the day when he presents his guilt offering.”
Leviticus 5:23-24 CJB

Today, if we’ve done something wrong like: slandering someone, fudging the numbers or taking something that didn’t belong to us, we need to restore.
Have a blessed day making things right!

Grace

“If an individual among the people commits a sin inadvertently, doing something against any of the mitzvot (commands) of Adonai concerning things which should not be done, he is guilty.”
Leviticus 4:27 CJB

We all have done something that we have regretted after we did it! What do we do?

“If we acknowledge our sins, then, since He trustworthy and just, He will forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.”
1 John 1:9 CJB

Realize, we all blow it often times unwillingly, we slip into old bad habits and the next thing we know we are in sin! Remember how great Adonai is. He never fails and always forgives. We just need to repent!

“On the contrary, they are new every morning! How great Your faithfulness.”
Lamentations 3:23 CJB

Today, with all that is going on around us. We usually don’t have the best attitudes and we can be a bit grumbly! Remember, the mercy and grace of Adonai are never-ending. All we have to do is call on Him!

Have a blessed day calling and confessing to Adonai, knowing He is forgiving!

Redeemed

“He is to lay his hand on its head and slaughter it in front of the tent of meeting, and the sons of Aharon are to splash its blood against all sides of the alter.”
Leviticus 3:13 CJB

Often times we need to be reminded that sin is a bloody mess that Yeshua came here to deal with! Sin isn’t something that we should just ignore it really is serious business that need to be dealt with!

“God redeemed me from going into the pit, and now my life sees light.”
Job 33:28 CJB

We all need to be reminded that we are saved by Adonai and what He has done for us! Even though we are sinners, remember we have a Redeemer (Yeshua) all we have to do is confess!

“When I acknowledge my sin to you, when I stopped concealing my guilt, and said, I will confess my offenses to Adonai; then You, You forgave the guilt of my sin.”
Psalm 32:5 CJB

Today, remember we have a Redeemer (Yeshua) who lives and who forgives!
Have a blessed day!
