Set apart

“For I am Adonai, who brought you up out of the land of Egypt to be your God. Therefore you are to be holy, because I am holy.”
Leviticus 11:45 CJB

Adonai really desires us to be holy and set apart from the world! We need to realize the world around is ordinary and worldly, we are a special generation that needs to be set apart for God!

“Understand that Adonai sets apart the godly person for Himself; Adonai will hear when I call to Him.”
Psalm 4:3 CJB

Adonai calls us His special and anointed people!

“They will be Mine, says Adonia-Tzva’ot, on the day when I compose my own special treasure. I will spare them as a man spares His own son who serves Him.”
Malachi 3:17 CJB

Today, what a good reminder that we are God’s special people set apart for Him! So let’s try to stay set apart for Adonai as we serve Him!
Have a blessed day!

Ambassadors for God

“Moshe said to Aharon, This is what Adonai said: Through those who are near Me I will be consecrated, and before all the people I will be glorified. Aharon kept silent.”
Leviticus 10:3 CJB

This was probably hard for Aharon to hear as his two sons were just burnt up by God. We all have to realize that we are all called by God so we can’t misrepresent Him, we need to do what He says!

“Even the cohanim, who are allowed to approach Adonai, must keep themselves holy; otherwise, Adonai may break out against them.”
Exodus 19:22 CJB

As we go out into our day, we need to remember we represent God to the unbelieving world. We are His ambassadors!

“But you are a chosen people, the King’s cohanim, a holy nation, a people for God to possess! Why? In order for you to declare the praises of the One who called you out of darkness into His wonderful light.”
1 Peter2:9 CJB

Today, remember we are God’s holy special people, so let’s be careful how we act and what we do!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Seek fellowship

They brought what Moshe had ordered before the tent of meeting, and the whole community approached and stood before Adonai.”
Leviticus 9:5 CJB

What a good reminder for us. We need to go to the place of meeting and as a community worship Adonai!

“I was glad when they said to me, the house of Adonai! Let’s go!”
Psalm 122:1 CJB

We really should make assembling ourselves together a high priority! Why? Because we need each other!

“Not neglecting our own congregational meetings, as some have made a practice of doing but, rather, encouraging each other. And let us do this all the more as you see the Day approaching,”
Hebrews 10:25 CJB

Today, it’s getting more and more obvious that the Day of the LORD is fast approaching! This really shoud encourage us even more to want to assemble with other believers!
Have a blessed day seeking fellowship with other believers!

Listen to Adonai

“Aharon and his sons did all the things which Adonai ordered through Moshe.”
Leviticus 8:36 CJB

Life is always going to be better when we simply just do what Adonai commands us to do!

“Sh’ma, Yisrael! Adonai Eloheinu, Adonai echad [Hear, Israel! Adonai our God, Adonai is one]; and you are to love Adonai your God with all your heart, all your being and all your resources.”
Deuteronomy 6:4-5 CJB

The biggest thing we can do is simply just love Adonai in everything we do! When we are loving Him things are always better!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

Today, realize when we are loving Adonai in everything we do, He will always give us comfort and counseling for our day!
Have a blessed day!

Praise Adonai

“This is the law for the guilt offering: it is especially holy.”
Leviticus 7:1 CJB

What Yeshua did for us by offering Himself for our sins is the most holy and reverent thing ever!

“Through Him, therefore, let us offer God a sacrifice of praise continually. For this is the natural product of lips that acknowledge His name.”
Hebrews 13:15 CJB

We all, on a daily basis, should be praising Adonai for His perfect gift of salvation! He paid it all!

“No one has greater love than a person who lays down his life for his friends.”
John 15:13 CJB

Yeshua, calls us His friends and He laid down His life for us, so we can live all eternity with Him! This is good news!
Have a blessed day knowing how special and holy Adonai is!
