Call on Adonai

“When Sha’ul (Saul) saw the army of the Philistine, he became afraid-it struck terror in his heart.”
1 Samuel 28:5 CJB

When we, like Saul, decide to do things on our own and the enemy comes up against us, we can become afraid! We shouldn’t even try to do the smallest things without Adonai, we really need Him for everything!

“Adonai is a stronghold for the oppressed, a tower of strength in times of trouble.”
Psalm 9:9 CJB

When we practice giving all to Adonai, even in the simplest of tasks, it will always help us when the bigger issues come upon us!

“Seek Adonai and His strength; always seek His presence.”
Psalm 105:4 CJB

Today, realize every little situation, good or bad, is allowed by Adonai, so we need to continuously call upon Him for help!
Have a blessed day calling on Adonai!

Believe

“And Akhish believed him; he said, David has caused his own people Israel to despise him utterly; he will be my servant forever.”
1 Samuel 27:17 CJB

This is what happens when we hang out in the world, it starts to accept us as its own and we start to get comfortable in it!

“Be aware that Adonai is God; it is he who made us; and we are His, His people, the flock in His pasture.”
Psalm 100:3

We really need to be a people who are all about Adonai! Why? Because He has us and understand we should never be comfortable in the world! We need faith!

“Thus, faith by itself, unaccompanied by actions, is daed.”
James 2:17 CJB

Today, let’a be mindful of where we are and who we are with!
Have a blessed day!

Focus on Adonai

“David then added, As Adonai lives, Adonai will strike him down, or the day will come for him to die, or he will go down to battle and be swept away.”
1 Samuel 26:10 CJB

We see here that as David said in previous verse that he can’t raise a hand against God’s anointed, but realize David does point out Saul’s errors and his misrepresenting God! Which Adonai will deal with, but like David we can point out false teachers and misleading preachers, without harming them!

“Vengeance and payback are mine for the time when their foot slips; for the day of their calamity is coming soon, their doom is rushing upon them.”
Deuteronomy 32:35 CJB

Often times when a false or misleading teacher or preacher is called out, their supporters come back with don’t touch God’s anointed! We all need to be careful of that, because if they are teaching false doctrine we can point that out, that is in no way touching them! Yeshua told us to be fruit inspectors!

“Beware of the false prophets! They come to you wearing sheep’s clothing, but underneath they are hungry wolves!”
Matthew 7:15 CJB

Today, let’s be responsible believers in Yeshua and study His scripture and make sure what we are hearing from teachers lines up with His word! If it doesn’t, point it out and move on! God will deal with them!
Have a blessed day in Yeshua!

We are not forsaken

“I have engraved you on the palms of my hands, your walls are always before me.”
Isaiah 49:16 CJB

What an awesome assurance that Adonai has given Israel and us that we are not forsaken.

“He holds the depths of the earth in His hands; the mountain peaks too belong to Him.”
Psalm 95:4 CJB

How amazing that the creator of the universe finds us as special and holy because of His redemption. It should really lead us to rejoice in Him!

“Doing your will, my God, is my joy; Your Torah is my inmost being.”
Psalm 40:8 CJB

Today, rejoice in the fact that God has redeemed us and our names are engraved in the palms of His hands!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!

Take a breath

“In the morning, when he was sober and his wife told him what had happened, he had a stroke and became as motionless as a stone.”
1 Samuel 25:37 CJB

Here Abigail was stressing about her husband because David was going to kill him! God stops David and takes care of Abigail by taking Naval (Nabal), giving him a stroke! The same goes for us in our stressful situations! We need to just step back and take a deep breath and watch what God will do!

“For Adonai is good, His grace continues forever, and His faithfulness lasts through all generations.”
Psalm 100:5 CJB

We always have to be reminded how good God is! He really has all situations covered and we need to just rest in Him!

“My safety and honor rest on God. My strong rock and refuge are in God.”
Psalm 62:7 CJB

Today, with all the situations happening around us, we really need to rest and trust in Adonai!
Have a blessed day!
Shabbat Shalom!
