Keep His commands!

“Adonai said to me, Proclaim all these words in the cities of Y’hudah and in the streets of Yerushalayim: Listen to the words of this covenant, and obey them.”
Jeremiah 11:6 CJB

I always find it interesting when God, says listen to my words and then do them! Then some preacher comes along and says we don’t need to keep that or do that, if you keep one then you have to keep all 613 to be saved! The thing is they’ve probably never really read them and if they did they would realize most of them were fulfilled by Yeshua! Understand scripture tells us if we try to keep the law to be saved, we will fail! We are saved by the grace of GOD not our works! With that said, He still desires us to walk in His ways and obey His commands! It’s not a got—to it’s a get—to obey His commands!

“I treasure Your word in my heart, so that I won’t sin against You.”
Psalm 119:11 CJB

We really need to be careful of picking and choosing what we want to do or don’t want to do! God has given us discernment to know right from wrong!

“If you love Me, you will keep My commands.”
John 14:15 CJB

“Moreover, love is this: that we should live according to His commands. This is the command, as you people have heard from the beginning; live by it.”
2 John 1:6 CJB

There are many other verses telling us we need to live how God commands us to! Just be careful of trying on picking and choosing! Just read and do!
Have a blessed day!

God guides

“There is no one like you, Adonai! You are great, and your name is great and mighty.”
Jeremiah 10:6 CJB

Adonai cannot be compared to anyone or anything else! There is nothing than can perfectly guide and lead you through life, but God!

“Great is Adonai and greatly to be praised, in the city of our God, His holy mountain.”
Psalm 48:1 CJB

There is nothing greater than God, so let’s put all our hope in Him!

“Great is Adonai and greatly to be praised; His greatness is beyond all searching out.”
Psalm 145:3 CJB

Today, with all that is going on around us, good or bad, we need to put all our hope and trust in Adonai!
Have a blessed day in Him!

Magnify the LORD

“Here is what Adonai says: The wise man should not boast of his wisdom, the powerful should not boast of his power, the wealthy should not boast of his wealth; instead, let the boaster boast about this: that he understands and knows Me-that I am Adonai, practicing grace, justice and righteousness in the land; for in these things I take pleasure, says Adonai.”
Jeremiah 9:22-23 CJB

God doesn’t care how rich, how powerful or smart we are! The best thing we can and should do is boast about Adonai and His greatness!

“When I boast, it will be about Adonai; the humble will hear of it and be glad.”
Psalm 34:2 CJB

Notice it’s not the rich, wealthy and powerful who are glad, it’s the humble! God desires us to be humble and wants us to glorify Him! Life is always going to be better when we are worshipping Adonai!

“Proclaim with me the greatness of Adonai; let us exalt His name together.”
Psalm 34:3 CJB

Today, let’s be careful of what we cheer and praise, let’s be all about magnifying our Father in Heaven!
Have a blessed day praising Yeshua!

Repent

“I listened attentively but they spoke nothing right. No one repents of his wickedness, saying, What have I done! Each runs off in his own direction, like a horse plunging headlong into battle.”
Jeremiah 8:6 CJB

God is always listening for people to repent, sadly not many do! We watch people all around us, even world leaders. They take no responsibility for what they do wrong! They all run in their own direction, doing their own thing, heading for the cliff of destruction!

“Storks in the sky know their seasons; doves, swallows and cranes their migration times; but My people do not know the rulings of Adonai!”
Jeremiah 8:7 CJB

Understand, God has given the birds of the air, fish in the sea and animals on land a sense of what directions to follow! He also has put in man’s heart to know right from wrong. Unfortunately, man often refuses to do what is right! Why? Man is full of pride!

“Pride goes before destruction, and arrogance before failure.”
Proverbs 16:18 CJB

This is something we all can struggle, with pride and arrogance! Pride, thinking we are above everyone, and arrogance, thinking we know it all or more than others! What do we do? REPENT and call on God to turn us to His right paths!

“Adonai, turn us back to You; and we will come back; renew our days, as they were in the past-unless You have totally rejected us in fury that knows no limits.”
Lamentations 5:21-20 CJB

Understand, there is a limit to God’s patience, so the best thing we can do is repent when we blow it! It does two things: first we are forgiven and second we have dialog with God!
Have a blessed day knowing God forgives when we repent!
Shabbat Shalom!
