Repent

“And you have done worse than your ancestors, for-look!-each of you lives according to the stubbornness of his own heart, so that you don’t listen to Me.”
Jeremiah 16:12 CJB

Here we see God warning the people through Jeremiah that because of their wicked ways, they will be judged and punished! We should be really careful of what we do also because God sees! So don’t fool yourself. If you are walking against God you won’t get away with it!

“For I see all their ways; they are not hidden from Me; their crimes are not concealed from My eyes.”
Jeremiah 16:17 CJB

So what are we to do? Repent and call upon Adonai!

“But I will call on God, and Adonai will save me.”
Psalm 55:16 CJB

Realize there is nothing that can save us from our own wickedness, but calling on God and repenting! Be careful of pointing out the wickedness of others, but instead look to your own, then call on Adonai and repent!
May your day be richly blessed!

Seek God

“When I found Your words, I devoured them; Your words made me glad, they gave me joy; because, Adonai-Tzva’ot, You had me bear your name.”
Jeremiah 15:16 CJB

Jeremiah found consolation and comfort in the Word of God! Where do you find comfort? Hopefully it’s in God and in His word!

“Your Word is a lamp for my foot and light on my path.”
Psalm 119:105 CJB

If you want to be comforted, then be in the Word of God! You will never have peace in the world but you can have it in Adonai!

“Even if I pass through death-dark ravines, I will fear no disaster; for You are with me; Your rod and staff reassure me.”
Psalm 23:4 CJB

The point here is that there is nothing that can destroy us! Why? Because we have the King of kings on your side! So we will always find peace in God and comfort in His word!
Have a blessed day seeking Adona!
Shabbat Shalom!

Study and verify

“Adonai replied, The prophets are prophesying lies in My name. I didn’t send them, order them or speak to them. They are prophesying false visions to you, worthless divinations, the delusion of their own minds.”
Jeremiah 14:14 CJB

As in Jeremiah’s day, we have the same problem. So many so—called prophets and prophetesses of God are telling nothing but lies! If it isn’t in the Word of God, backed up by the Word of God, it’s probably false!

“You are not to use the name of Adonai your God, because Adonai will not leave unpunished someone who uses His name lightly.”
Exodus 20:7 CJB

We need to be careful of false teachers and preachers, always verify, using the Word of God! We need to fear God, not man!

“For the time is coming when people will not have patience for sound teaching, but will cater to their passions and gather around themselves teachers who say whatever their ears itch to hear.”
2 Timothy 4:3 CJB

That time is now. We have teachers who have great influence and share nothing but foolishness! Unfortunately, people today don’t want to hear anything that makes them unhappy or challenges them in walking upright with Adonai!

Today, let’s be believers who look to the Word of God for answers and directions! Don’t just listen to someone who says, search His Word and verify it’s true!
May your day be richly blessed!
Shabbat Shalom!

Return to God

“On the hills and in the fields, I have seen your abominations-your adulteries, your lustful neighing your shameless prosititution. Woe to you, Yerushalayim! You refuse to be purified! Won’t you ever allow it?”
Jeremiah 13:27 CJB

Here we see God pleading through Jeremiah for the people to repent and return to God, but they still refuse! Sounds like the same scene today! We need to be like Jeremiah and not give up!

“He sounds a warning in their ears and orders them to repent of their evil.”
Job 36:10 CJB

Why does God want us to repent and turn from our evil ways? Because He knows what evil will do to us, it will destroy us and He wants us to live a blessed life in Him!

“If we acknowledge our sins, then, since He is trustworthy and just, He will forgive them and purify us from all wrongdoing.”
1 John 1:9 CJB

The key here is to acknowledge our sins, not point out others sins, but instead acknowledge our own!
Have a blessed day calling on Adonai, repenting and then return to walking with Him!

God has a plan!

“Adonai, although you would be in the right if I were to dispute with you, nevertheless I want to discuss some points of justice with you: Why do the wicked prosper? Why do the treacherous all thrive?”
Jeremiah 12:1 CJB

This sounds like a question we may all ask God! Why do the wicked prosper? Why do evil people seem to get away with things? The answer is God is always right and has a perfect plan, He uses all things to work together for His good!

“For My thoughts are not your thoughts, and your ways are not My ways, Says Adonai.”
Isaiah 55:8 CJB

No matter how bad things may seem and how wickedness seems to prosper, realize God has it covered and everything will simply work out!

“For I know what plans I have in mind for you,’ says Adonai, ‘plans for well-being, not for bad things; so that you can have hope and a future.”
Jeremiah 29:11 CJB

We need to understand evil in an evil world will always seem to prosper! But for us we need to focus on God and Him alone and not fall into the trap of envying the wicked world!
Have a blessed day knowing God has a perfect plan filled with hope for us!
